Recent science has said there are several genes that likely influence whether one is heterosexual or homosexual. So I guess you are technically correct, there is no gay gene there are gay genes (as in plural).

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If one side of any issue can have a parade, so too can the other side. I personally think having a parade to celebrate gay pride or straight pride is ridiculous, but whatever floats their boat. Have at it. A parade one way or the other isn't about to change how I feel about anything.

Largely for minor stuff like disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. And the protesters claim the police were the aggressors.

The DA moved to drop most of the charges against most of the people -- suggesting there wasn't a lot of substance to them.
