Yes, the progressive left hates NOAA and doesn’t believe a single thing prediction they make. The progressive left provided and endless fountain of comedy.
If he was getting updated briefings then he should have known better or does the word “timeline” mean nothing?
The extrapolated timeline on the map indicates Dorian progressing into Alabama on Wednesday. This entire thing is absolutely absurd. Try googling sharpie. It’s hilarious.
All anyone has to do is read the posts from Trumpservatives here and they will clearly come to the same conclusions I have.
I'm afraid I don't understand the problem with the sharpie. If there wasn't time to print another graph should he have juat postponed the photo shoot so a new graph could have been made? What's the issue? Who cares if a printer or a marker does the alteration? Why is it absurd exactly?
And....when asked/challenged about it...the best he offers is....'don't know.' https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-09-05/donald-trump-forecast-map-hurricane-dorian-alabama/11480528
Thing is....why would he bother with this bullshit? Was he doing the old Goebells thing of exaggerating the danger to appear as the saviour? The bloke is a fruit loop, I tells ya Team USA.
You can wash it off if you like but it is unmistakeable that the idiot has no idea what he is talking about...other than to propagandise....'I don't know.' Yay. Go POTUS.
Lol...I doubt that any of trump’s turd polishers will ever admit that their obese orange hope is actually a deplorable dotard. How embarrassing for them to have to make up excuses for this latest brain fart.
Here’s something to chuckle at. https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-daily-shows-trevor-noah-nails-trump-for-doctoring-hurricane-dorian-map
I've seen dozens of threads on this forum where somebody calls a Trump led United States a "laughingstock" and some willfully blind so-called conservative with respond with "Who's laughing at us?" Absolutely everybody.... you cannot help but laugh at the level of insecurity in this administration that will cause both acts described in this thread... Carry on celebrating mediocrity...
And I'll ask YOU the same question nobody wants to address..... Please take 10 seconds and think about it before firing off a snap response. I'll go first... I have no huge problem mentioning that Alabama might eventually be in the path of the storm based on that map, which was developed on 8/29, even though NOAA didn't extend the map that far on purpose. Does that make you happy? Now you.... Why would anybody have that exact same map in the oval office for Trump to display to the American people during a weather briefing on 9/4, when it's at least 6 days old and the current location and path of the hurricane is nothing close to what that map displays?? I won't even get into the sharpie question. It's possibly not even an anti-Trump question so don't get defensive...
Except that is from Thursday Aug. 29, and Trump was still insisting on Sunday Sep. 1 that Alabama was going to get hit. "In addition to Florida - South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated." So either he hadn't been updated in three days and was tweeting out information that was out of date as if it were "breaking news", or he made a mistake. It is inconceivable that he hadn't been updated in three days, particularly when he cancelled a trip to Poland for the specific purpose of staying in the country to monitor Dorian. So he made a mistake. On the one hand, big f-ing deal. It is his response to the mistake that is revealing. Instead of just saying, "sorry, my mistake. I should not have included Alabama", he tries to claim that he did NOT make a mistake. It shows how mentally weak he is, and how fragile his ego is, that he needs to bring the press into the Oval Office, draw on a map with a sharpie (and thereby lie / create his own reality) in order to defend his narrative that he doesn't make mistakes. It is really pathetic.
According to those there was, at most, a 20% chance that a tiny portion of Alabama would see sustained winds of 34 mph. And yet, two days later, Trump tweeted "In addition to Florida - South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated." Everything that happened between the 29/30 forecasts and Trump's tweet tended to show that the chances of Alabama being hit were reducing, not increasing. The guy is an idiot with a super-fragile ego. I can understand how some people could vote for him, but I am genuinely struggling to understand how anyone can think he is intelligent.
