The poster used a term to depersonalise the previous president. I inferred that he hated the previous president from the way he referred to president Obama. The poster said that he didn’t hate President Obama but that he hated President Obama’s alleged lies. I apologised for misinterpreting his statement. That does not mean that I believe his statement to be true, or that I believe President Obama is a liar. This is off topic. No more discussion to be entered.
Again, a typical liberal statement. When presented with evidence (that is public knowledge) you dismiss the conversation and claim to no longer want to participate. Typical, as I said.
Wow. Only 35 NO Votes (out of 48 Cast)? At a Forum like PF (where the vast majority of Active Posters live to shade The Obamas 24/7), I am shocked that there aren't more NO votes. Go figure.
From the majority of posts on this forum, I find your claim to be doubtful. Call them liberals or progressives, but they are prevalent here.
If we could magically transport ourselves into the future into a time where women are equal and not perceived as an adjunct to their husband, there will be many woman presidents in the future, that's if the United States is still in existence as a democratic republic. Women are innately stronger leaders than men are, but history hasn't allowed them the opportunities that men have to lead. Women are not influenced by the testosterone produced by testicles in men. It's a nature thing, designed to help the male species use his strength and brawn to survive prehistoric times fighting dinosaurs and pterodactyls. Women are vastly more empathetic than most men. Empathy plays a critical role in the choices made by any leader. Women are vastly more pragmatic than men, that's just a fact. Men generally exchange information without as much emotional connection and focus solely on problem-solving without considering the state of the human condition. A man may make the decision to close down a GM plant because the Unions, the overtime pay, the high hourly wage is negatively impacting their bottom line. A woman would look at the same circumstances and consider the men that would be left without a job and try to come up with ways to circumvent a total plant closure. They would negotiate with the unions, possibly suggest that workers start contributing more to their health care plans, eliminate the overtime by properly staffing with new hires at a lower hourly rate, etc. There's many options and a woman will investigate all of them before making the decision to end the jobs for hundreds of plant workers. I think Michelle Obama would make a superior president. She's extremely intelligent and educated. She's a great speaker and able to 'connect' with those she's speaking with and not to. Recent history has shown us over and over again how advanced countries that have liberated their women from behind a stove have elected women that have made great strides for their respective countries. Indira Gandhi, Angela Merkel, Margaret Thatcher, Theresa May, all great women leaders. FDR's spouse Eleanor was perhaps a woman in history that was way ahead of her time. Eleanor Roosevelt won the United Nations prize in the field of human rights.
No, you were actually pretty close to being right-on-target. When a president does some of the things that Obama did, and forces some of the deceitful injustices on the country that he did, then he isn't any better than being some kind of criminal THING, as I said. If there had been any justice in this country, he would have been impeached and removed for breaking the law, but such a thing was unimaginable in a country where everyone would have been crapping in their pants over how they would be called "racists" -- even though he was clearly and obviously guilty. Hell, one of the laws he flagrantly broke was a law that Obama HIMSELF signed into law in the first place -- only about a year before he broke it! Look it up. I wouldn't lie about a thing like that! Hint: Bergdahl ....
The liberals never fail to impress with their concise and devastating responses when they have no argument.
Do you live in Iran or what? As an European from a country that has had many Queens I find this statement highly offensive. How about we try no leaders for once? A society where everyone owns their own body and freedom? Michelle Obama would just be a ctrl c-ctrl v of her husband and unless you are a fan of government infringing on the freedoms of both their own- and other nations' individual liberties and a fan of constant race-bait, Michelle Obama should be the scariest Presidentess you could think of... After Hillary, of course.
