Nothing in the constitution about lefty pet projects, so no, you can't steal from the military.

yep, Trump sets the precedent, we can claim social security failing is a threat to the elderly and disabled and declare it an national emergency and steal from the military fund to save it, Republican can try to fight it if they wish

I forget how many billions it was, but the point is he was given money - Congress is supposed to control the purse strings, not Trump

he was even offered 25 billion for the bipartisan DACA deal but backed out

I can't think of any place we need one more than at our southern border.

It's not a matter of keeping everyone out, it's a matter of controlling who comes in, and who goes out; who has a legal pass, and who doesn't have a legal pass.

The number I remember was $1.3 billion. That would build about fifty or sixty miles of wall. More than much of the border wall/fence is in need of replacement.

It’s cute you think a fence keeps unwanted intruders out.

So long as it's for national security that would be fine. It isn't stealing. It's American tax dollars and constitutionally is to be used for the national security. It's not anyone else's money.

The issue was about the person I replied to believing the average person putting up a fence to keep people out. Try to keep up

The Democrats are not winning more votes. They are losing independents. Their platform is devoid of anything that will actually help the American people.

The Democrats will lose that argument. They have not learned anything from 2016.

Nancy Pelosi thinks walls do indeed keep unwanted intruders out. It’s cute that you think she is cute.

Theoretically speaking, anyone supporting the building of the wall wouldn't mind Mexicans rowing a boat or swimming across and setting up crude structures in the narrow strip of land? You must admit conceding a degree of freedom of movement here. Unless you intend to have armed guards shoot at people crossing the river or turning the finger of land into a mine field.

Pelosi is an idiot. Not sure why you thought it was a good idea to use her as some sort of evidence to make your case. Poor play on your part

She refuses to secure the border by funding a wall directly. Are you saying that is idiotic ??

I was saying she's an idiot in general. But why does she need to fund the wall? I thought Mexico was funding the wall???
