I agree....and grow very tired of people expecting me to learn Spanish for these people. There are far better and rational ways to do this however....Walls and torture will not work.

Are you going to put your hand in your pocket and pay the medical bill? I thought not.

Who the heck ARE we? Socialists wanting someone else to foot the bill. Life doesn't work that way, have a go at those countries that don't look after their population, it's not America's responsibility.

I don't know which citizens are denied and why, but when it comes to families of other countries, the whole world lets children die of many things, including hunger and safe water.

Parents must take responsibility for their children.

Australia is gorgeous no doubt about that.
Unfortunately, even a visitors visa can be tough to get and anyone wanting to move there permanently might as well choose the moon. Over 80% of applicants will either give up or fail. You have one of the strictest immigration policies in the world. And as far as refugees are concerned:

Australia’s Brutal Refugee Policy Is Inspiring the Far Right in the EU and Beyond:

"Soon after President Trump assumed office in January 2017, he had a phone call with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

The transcript of the conversation, leaked in August, revealed that the new US president admired his Australian counterpart because Turnbull was “worse than I am” on asylum seekers. Turnbull had proudly stated, “If you try to come to Australia by boat, even if we think you are the best person in the world, even if you are a Nobel Prize–winning genius, we will not let you in.”

"In their phone call, the prime minister begged the US leader to adhere to a deal struck by Turnbull and former President Barack Obama the year before, in which the United States had agreed take up to 1,250 refugees imprisoned by Australia for years on Manus Island in Papua New Guinea. "

"Trump didn’t understand why Australia couldn’t take the PNG and Nauru refugees in.
Turnbull responded, “It is not because [the refugees] are bad people. It is because in order to stop people smugglers we had to deprive them of the product.” Trump liked what he heard. “That is a good idea,” he said. “We should do that too."
    snip
    Prime Minister Abbott:
" “Effective border protection is not for the squeamish,” he claimed, after pushing the concept of turning back refugee boats at sea and returning people to their country of origin, “but it is absolutely necessary to save lives and to preserve nations.”

    Congress wrote the law.

President Trump is just upholding the oath of office and enforcing the laws that Congress passed.

As for the Trump Wall, it was Congress who voted for the wall on the border in 2006.

Sen. Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer and even Sen. Barack Obama voted aye for the wall.

Congress has a purse full of money.

The President has an army, navy, Marine Corps and air force and a whole lot of federal cops with guns.

The judicial branch of government has no purse or army but the liberal activist judges will legislate from the bench and pretend they are President.

If the illness requires immediate attention, then we should stabilize them. When they are stabilized, we should hand them over to their governments and families for care where they actually live.

This isn't like that AT ALL

These kids even include those who are HERE and undergoing experimental medical solutions to problems that US Citizens contract.

And, Trump is taking action that will kill them.

You can decide not to go to Africa and save children.

But, this is America killing children who are HERE.

    ??
You clearly didn't read the OP cite.

Their home countries have no solution. Sending them there is a death sentence by Trump.

So, what do you have to say about Trump sending these children to their deaths?

Many of those being sent to their deaths by Trump are here at the invitation of American medical research.

Trump is also killing that medical research, obviously.

I just mention the kids, as if Trump were only killing the research. THAT would be totally disgusting, but at least not a case of taking a direct hand in killing these kids.

I have little confidence in the NYT. This article says these folks are legal immigrants. If that were true, seems like they wouldn't be sent back. So, are they citizens? Or just visa-holders or what? If they're not U.S. citizens, then of course they can be sent back to their home country. Duh. No one wants anyone to die, but we can't be responsible for everyone's problems. It is impossible.

Ha. In my wildest fantasies, I envision a law that every person voting Democrat has to take in an immigrant family to live in their home and without any federal assistance.

Then that is the fault of their home countries not us. Their home countries are responsible for their citizens, not us. We simply can't pay for the healthcare of every sick person in the world with incompetent home countries.

Do you think a telethon will stop Trump from killing these kids?

It might help in defeating him in the upcoming election, I suppose. But, that doesn't stop him from killing these kids.

    That's absolutely absurd.

This isn't an issue about saving people in other countries.

These kids are here undergoing medical treatment that is part of research - research that has the potential to help anyone who contracts similar disease.

Cutting off this medical research and condemning the children to death comes under the heading of murder.

Nice spin. I support the right to choose when the pregnancy is due to rape, incest or puts the mother's life in jeopardy. I do not support abortions 5 minutes before birth, like some people on the left support.

Look up abortions by race. It would seem a certain demographic has an extremely high abortion rate relative to their population. It's unbelievable the left isn't calling abortions racist like they do with everything else.

Trump killed kids? Wait...you must mean like the way Obama fast-roped down from a helicopter, kicked in the door to bin Ladens' compound and karate chopped him to death.

Your post is ridiculous, especially considering that Obama actually did kill kids when he droned weddings.

If medical institutions want to volunteer the treatment for research purposes for free, I have no problem with that. My problem starts when we place this burden on taxpayers who themselves have trouble paying their own medical bills.

If the medical institutions are unwilling to pay for this treatment, then we can maybe go to individual donors and ask them to help pay for it. But if nobody is willing to pay for it, then we have to send them back to their countries, since their countries are responsible for them.

If we provide full healthcare to every illegal who comes in, then its possible that illegals will be allowed here from months to years for medical visits and ongoing treatment. Sick people around the world will then know that all they have to do is break through our border security and they will get free first-class treatment at the cost to American workers.

These children are not here illegally. And, many if not all are participants in medical studies. There is no indication that they are displacing American children that would otherwise die.

And, deporting them to them IS equivalent to murder in that there is no way that their home country can save them.

You can listen to them speak to congress by finding a news feed. You can read the OP cite.
