    They are implementing an independent impartial oversight board with term limits to make sure they are not in violation of anything

    Almost like how our SCOTUS should function but has turned into a laughing stock like the rest of our institutions

    That’s pretty far from fascist

    Facebook choosing its own Supreme Court judges wont be any different than if Obama or Trump could pick all nine of our SC judges. There is no reason for them to do this unless they already know what the outcome will be.

    Facebook is a private company, and just like PF, has a TOS that one must agree to before using the platform.

    You don't like it, don't post there.

    And quit calling everything you don't like "fascism". It isn't.

    Facebook needs to do a better job of Cracking Down on RW Fever Swamp Comedians.

    It is a Good Start.

    BUT, they have a long fight ahead of them if they really want to RID Facebook of all of the Ridiculous RW Fever Swamp Trollbait.

    What is fascist about an organisation determining what is published on their own website? Are you saying anyone who opens their site up to any kind of external submissions should be expected to unconditionally publish those submissions, regardless of what’s in them? Should this forum instantly sack all its moderators and turn off all its content filters, all a free-for-all for anyone to post literally anything they want?

    Do you think that websites like Facebook should be able to delete at least some content that many find offensive? For instance, if someone posted about killing people based on race, shouldn’t Facebook be allowed to delete that?

    You basically want to tell Facebook how to run it’s own business. You’re becoming one of the fascist you purport to hate.

    That isn't what your OP was about though. At worst, their changing who within the organisation makes the final decisions in those cases won't make the blindest bit of difference. I could improve things. Regardless, it doesn't make them fascist and it doesn't make them any different from any other website with external submissions, including this one.

    I don't know anyone with any sense who still uses or even has a Facebook account. I ditched mine nine years ago after having it less than four months. But, like P. T. Barnum said famously, "There's a sucker born every minute!" Me? I'd find something a hell of a lot better than Facebook to 'suck on' if I was destined to be a 'sucker'.... :lol:
