This from a guy who watching that rambling idiot with the Prez of Finland??

If I was the DNC, My entire 2020 campaign strategy would just be to play clips from this event on continuous loop..

Americans will not elect a deranged person as President....

Also, I've determined it's something about Finland that sets Trump off.... remember it was in Helsinki where he gave Putin a verbal reach around....

Not really. I prefer the EC over a simple 'majority rules' situation. I just don't like that the Electors aren't bound by anything to declare their votes to someone they prefer over what 'The People' want.

I mean, would you have been happy if Hillary had paid off the electors and won, even if she didn't actually win? I doubt it.

I guess I can only respond to you like the leader of the free world did to America today... BULLSHIT

Petty is talking about his hair or his weight or his skin color... Challenging his mental capacity is fully American and required...

Did the House just vote to start an impeachment inquiry?

A few TDS victims are beginning to catch on. Most may never learn.

"When I first covered Donald Trump, my initial reaction to him was, 'Wow, if you watch the reaction to him on the campaign trail and ignore the polls and just watch the way people responded to him, you would say this person is a very serious threat to win the presidency.'"

"But then, once he became the nominee, I fell into the same trap that a lot of reporters did. I let a pollster talk me out of the proposition that Trump could win. At the Republican National Convention, I ran into a Democratic pollster who sat me down and said the favorability numbers just don't work. There aren't enough uneducated white males to deliver the election for Trump, because if you look at his favorability numbers, they never creep high enough to win a majority of registered voters."

Because the House is a representative body.
You know - where the Representatives vote for things.

IOW, the "impeachment inquiry" represents the will of the DP bosses in the House - not the people.
The House only represents the will of the people when the peoples Representatives vote.
Why have the Democrats become so anti-democratic?

Because the New Left has become the Old Left and assumed its authoritarian nature and characteristics.

    And what were people expecting?

Many of them have learned that lesson the hard way. Anyone who really wants to see Communists mowed down by the state should want to see Communists take control of the state.

"In a situation where the dividing line between fiction and reality is blurred by the monstrosity and the inner consistency of the accusation, not only the strength of character to resist constant threats but great confidence in the existence of fellow human beings — relatives or friends or neighbors — who will never believe "the story" are required to resist the temptation to yield to the mere abstract possibility of guilt.

To be sure, this extreme of an artificially fabricated insanity can be
achieved only in a totalitarian world. Then, however, it is part of the propaganda apparatus of the totalitarian regimes to which confessions are not
indispensable for punishment. "Confessions" are as much a specialty of
Bolshevik propaganda as the curious pedantry of legalizing crimes by retrospective and retroactive legislation was a specialty of Nazi propaganda. The
aim in both cases is consistency."
THE ORIGINS OF TOTALITARIANISM, By Hannah Arendt, Meridian Books, Cleveland, New York, 1958.
    https://archive.org/stream/TheOriginsOfTotalitarianism/The-Origins-of-Totalitarianism_djvu.txt

This time the DP has jumped the shark - the USA may be ruled by a corrupt bipartisan political class, but it is not yet a totalitarian state. The wannabes are really cruising for Deep State cleansing. All the active felons in our government should be retaining criminal lawyers while they still have their assets and their jobs.

Absolutely. The first people the Bolsheviks shot were the socialists in the early soviets.

We're at a critical juncture in our Republic. If the problems that started with the Obama administration and continued with the "insurance" agents in the federal bureaucracy aren't remedied we will become a banana republic, minus the familiar Latin American trappings. I don't know that a bigger burden has ever been placed on AG than what Bill Barr is dealing with now, but he does have some good people like John Durham and others around him so there's hope. On the other hand, Washington's track record doesn't exactly inspire optimism.

If Lenin had stuck with "All Power to the Soviets" he might have been compared to George Washington.
Of course, that assumes that the Soviets could have effectively governed the Russian/Soviet Empire - probably just another impossible dream.

Lenin would have had to permit the USSR to become a democracy to warrant any comparison to Washington, as well.

That being said, "All Power to the Soviets" is a curious slogan coming from such a strident exponent of dictatorship. "All Power to the Soviets" would have been akin to the Anarcho-Marxism that was briefly practiced in Revolutionary Catalonia before Franco & Co. put an end to it during the Spanish Civil War. I can't see such a decentralized system working in a country/empire that required an all-powerful central government to keep it in one piece ideologically and territorially.

Obviously the dems know short of rigging the election and impeaching Trump they won't win in 2020 so now they're throwing hail Mary's. Also they know AG Barr and Durham are getting very warm with their investigation in Ukraine. That's what the rush is about. They need to get Trump out before he and the DOJ get them. In anticipation of a successful impeachment, they're now starting to go after Pence and force AG Barr to recuse himself.

Major corruption in that party. If not held accountable and they win, the country will be gone.

Guess now you will have to post evidence of Biden bragging about his corruption. Oh and it has to Biden making the statement not some third party Fox innuendo.

Imagine if Eric Trump took a contract with Russia, Ukraine, China to consult on something he has no experience in and he doesn't even speak the language. Leftists would lose their little warped minds.

Which is determined by the results of the state elections and the amount of electoral votes each state possesses. I would have though all the whining you folks did about the electoral college you might have bothered to at least learn the basics...
