The rich keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting poorer; so OBVIOUSLY the poor are getting poorer because the rich are getting richer. Obviously, right? There's a lot of people in poverty, and then there are the morbidly wealthy. Those people are OBVIOUSLY poor because those other people are morbidly wealthy. There's a lot of people in hunger, and then there are the morbidly obese. Those people are OBVIOUSLY hungry because those other people are morbidly obese. The solutions to these very pressing problems are OBVIOUS. We should end poverty by taxing the wealthy, and we should end hunger by harvesting the obese.
They are. Here, in the US, we have solved poverty every forty years. If the standard for poverty were, at any time in our history, what it was forty years prior, poverty would be considered statistically solved. "Poverty" is among the most moved goalposts in our history. It's right up there with "fair".
People are what they are because of their own decisions. No one is fat because others are skinny. No one is smart because others are dumb. No one is poor because others are rich. Or visa versa. Leave everyone alone and just worry about yourself. Some people need to get a life and get ride of their envy.
We have more HOMELESS today than we have ever had before in my lifetime, and I'm 79.We have more who have no health insurance. We now have finance companies with 7 YEAR CAR LOANS!!!Just so average workers can think of buying a new car.
How about you? What are you doing about the homeless and those without medical insurance? (There is no such thing as "health insurance" other than diet and exercise, and even then there's no guarantee.) So, what about you, falcon? What are you doing about average workers buying cars?
You need to take a few economics classes. Wealth isn't static, or we'd still be living in caves hunting and gathering, and even then, there's that whole hunting and gathering thing that actually increases wealth.
I am pointing out that contrary to what a lot of right wingers claim, average Americans are worse off today than they were the day Dirty Donald took office.
The homeless is a mindset problem. They come at it from the idea that becoming homeless is really easy, and can happen to anybody. Definitely agree!!!! If you don't want to be homeless, life is ****in' tough!!! There was a time I'd see those guys lounging around doing dick all nothing while I was struggling to pay my bills. People are bringing them sandwiches, free blankets, free this, free that, and nobody was bringing me free anything. Yes, it's really really easy to become homeless. If you don't want to be homeless, then work your lazy arse off!!!
That's their own fault. Ain't my concern. I recently watched a video about homeless in new york. They were all talking about how all they need is cheaper housing, more public services, more free stuff, and more free stuff, and then they'd be living next to the Clampetts in Beverly hills. It's not like that at all. You can't get on your feet if you're looking for handouts. You can only get back on your feet if you want to work for the shirt you might like to have on your back. Nobody wants to pay those lazy good-for-nothing tramps to sit around on their lazy arses complaining about how they aren't getting enough free stuff.
That's the war argument. It's hard to work harvesting crops, working to make stuff that other people might desire so they'll pay you so you can buy stuff that others produce. At the end of the day, everybody is working, nobody is stealing, and we all benefit. It's easy to just go over to your neighbor with a double barrel shotgun and demand that he give you all the stuff he worked for. If that's what you want, all I can say is that things might be a bit tougher than you imagine them to be. We'll kill to keep what is ours. Still wanna risk it?
But what about fairness? Isn't it unfair the some people have more than others regardless of how they got it?
That would be about half of the American population, leaving only "normal weight" people. But then what?
Well when you let 30 millions illegals walk across the border what in the hell did you expect to happen??
I can't speak for falcon but myself, I usually vote for Democrats. At least they care about the poor.
Is that why they have so many of them? I used to think like you. I would hear buttmunches like myself talking about how life is hard as hell, so stop thinking that everything is going to be easy. I'd look at those rich people in the hills and think that there really isn't any difference between them and the good people I knew who were struggling to just pay their bills, as well as their drug addictions, and rampant laziness. Sorry, but democrats need to start thinking "what next?". Something they're not all that great at which is why they never seem to be able to actually do something worthy of human beings. e.g. San Francisco has been trying to battle homelessness of half a century. They have managed to turn their care into a place that is now a laughingstock amongst us right wingers because of how crap the place has become. Pelosi is a moron, Feinstein is a moron, Newsome is a moron, and that is why they will continue to have more problems in the future. Second level thinking isn't a democrat's forte, if I'm honest. They can't think beyond their own nose. That's why CA can't even build a bullet train using technology developed in the 1960s. Retards can't think past the second plateau.
They have so many because they know that Democrats understand the problems they face. The rest of your post is just a word salad of nonsense that doesn't address the OP at all.
Laziness that democrats are incapable of fixing. It would be similar to the blind leading the blind. Physical laziness being led by mental laziness. As for the rest of my post meaning nothing to you, well all I can say is that I could have predicted your response. Saying that democrats really have a problem with the concept of "what next?" presupposes the ability to understand the concept of "what next?".
I can prove your post wrong with just two words.........ready? Health care How many years have we been waiting for the alternate to the ACA. Please, tell me again about "what next".
Who’s been waiting? We don’t want more ACA. Don’t want government involved. My health is none of their business.
