    Fiona Hill was still testifying at 9 pm last night.... and some of the things she reported are blood-curdling.

    I mean, when things are so bad that John Bolton looks like the good guy, then you know that Hell has arrived on Earth.

    What started as a scandal of quid pro quo with the direct involvement of the president, has turned into a three stooges movie, except without the sober intellectual gravitas and moral authority that Moe provided in each and every nose twisting and head smacking scene.

    While the parallel is frighteningly accurate the reality is that the corruption that SURROUNDS the BLOTUS probably goes to the very CORE.

    Nobody could have this many "associates" involved in illegal financial dealings with the criminals that arose out of the ashes of the former USSR and yet remain untouched by any of it.

    We are just seeing the tip of the money laundering iceberg and the odds are that it will end up with at least one, if not more, of the BLOTUS's associates being tried and imprisoned.

    The question is do We the People want this to continue happening in our Executive Branch or has there been enough to lance this massive orange pus filled abscess once and for all?

    I have been asking myself for more than 3 years why so many Russians (and other slavic personalities) keep popping up in virtually everything that Trump does, and moreover, why Russians have been very visible at many GOP events, also at events that support the GOP, like, for instance, the NRA. Half of Trump Tower in NYC is literally rented out to Russians. GOP Senators spent the FOURTH OF JULY one year ago in: Russia. When Michael Cohen was spontaneously photographed in front of a cafe right after his indictment, he was surrounded by three very obvious russian thugs. When all of this is unearthed, it is going to be very, very ugly. And the Trumpsuckers of the world are going to have a very hard time defending even one iota of it.

    The key to all of this is to follow the money and it appears as though they are starting with the BLOTUS's latest excuse for a "lawyer" who is probably going to end up as a cell mate with his former lawyer judging by this meltdowns over Ukraine.

    The answer to your question sadly depends on which 'we the people' you are asking, and that correlates most consistently with which party they self identify with, and on where they live.

    If we nominate a credible candidate, one that does not scare the voters more than Trump does, Donald will be toast.

    I don't see many "scary" candidates in the Dem line up but I can see why BLOTUS supporters might by very scared of several of them. ;)

    Umm... you guys do know that these meetings are being held in secret, right? There are only a few people allowed in, and those that are aren't allowed to say what is actually being said, so we end up with sources that go "The same source told CNN that Hill testified that"

    Think about that for a second. A nameless source is telling CNN what Hill said.

    Haven't you guys fallen for these nameless sources five or twenty times too many by now?

    In effect, they already have. The smearing of Biden has close parallels to all the unsubstantiated smears of Clinton. Trump and the right wing sound machine just keep throwing shyte against the wall. They don't have to prove any of it has any truth to it. The accusation alone has a damaging effect because The Following will believe anything they are told.

    Easy to say, but realize that this Ukraine nonsense is not going to end well for lefties. It's another hail mary attempt by the democrats, which is why Nancy won't hold a vote to actually start the impeachment process, and why these meetings are being held behind closed doors.

    After being burned soooo many times, you just might want to think about the possibility that maybe this is going to prove to be another nothingburger. At least exercise some modicum of skepticism this time around because your credibility is right up there with a kid with chocolate smeared all around his face telling his mommy that he doesn't know what happened to the chocolate cake that used to be in the fridge.

    To say that the left's credibility is in the gutter is an insult to gutters.
