But do you see the praise you’re giving him now? He counts on people like you why do you feel sorry for that person? I also can’t be friends with bigots. I can’t be friends with people who have values that I deplore. To you it’s showing respect, to me it is a waste of time
Standard operating procedure to charge the Secret Service. Uncle Joe (Joe Biden) charged the Secret Service $13,000 in rent from April 2011 to August 2011 (when story was written). https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wo...thousands-to-rent-cottage-to-protect-him.html
Well, Biden's rent was about $4k a month, when the year before he had rented it out for $11k a year......
Not often we have a level of commonality, but I suspect on this we might. My friendships are not based on someone echoing my political, religious, sexual preference or any other beliefs, but on honesty, integrity, and a willingness to accept differences. I am comfortable who I am and don’t need the affirmation of others. The value to me is in differences, I sometimes find discovery in the most unlikely places and conversations. I don’t take the opinion of others of me to challenge my confidence in myself. Having to defend my views helps me examine their efficacy, refine my views, and inure they are supported by logic and rational thinking, not blind loyalty to any doctrine. My closest friends are a married couple who are polar opposites in political opinions, spirituality related matters, and things like gun rights. On my once comment to my friend, I suggested we disagree on most things finding it odd we were close friend. He replied, “No, I think we agree on 98% of things, but find sport in arguing about the other 2%”. Despite our differences, we share traits of honesty, honor, integrity, trust, and respect. We can predict each other’s opinions on most things and in that also know each has the other’s back where, in friendship, it matters. Once a year, my friend and I host and entirely pay for a dinner and drink for our shared network of close friends, all of which I would describe as highly opinionated, informed, bluntly honest people of different perspectives who engage in passionate debate but never walk away in anger and which would rise to the occasion of another in need. To us, real friendship is having the comfort of being yourself amid friends. Despite the differences, and twenty some years of this, it’s us against the world not each other. My major criteria for rejection... exhibited cruelty or blind discrimination toward others.
yeah, Trump jacked up the price and is making millions, even though Biden's was much less, I still think both are wrong.... Trump even rents his golf carts to the secret service
And pray tell, which politic of the modern democratic West is doing that? Please detail the specifics of the call to murder specific people/s.
Brilliantly put. Thank you. That's how it should always be. If you're (general you) NOT doing the above, it's you who has the problem, not your friends.
The Nazis say all the "Aryans" should kill all the Jews, don't they? (and quite a few others really, but only with the Jews is the attitude to kill them all, man, woman, child, no exceptions). The specific details can be found in any good book on the Holocaust, with photos of the children waiting to be gassed.
Biden charged more in 4 months of the SS, than he did for the year before to his renters........ Not much different in what they did, just in the $ amounts. Both jacked up prices.
I'll ask again, since you didn't answer the question. Which of the MODERN democratic Western govt is currently murdering specific people/s, and how are they going about it?
It goes without saying that people aren't nazis. The concept that you have to declare that you aren't a nazi is insane.
Unless you act like one, and call them "very fine people" Mind, most everybody has to act like a Nazi a good percentage of the time. They are human beings after all, they eat , sleep etc, just like we do, and , in the broadest sense they accomplish their ends in the same ways as us, this is where Godwin's Law comes from. However, Godwin does most emphatically NOT mean you can never call a Nazi out when you see one.
Trump has made it quite clear by his actions over the years that he is a white nationalist, that is, he sees a nation as being defined by its dominant race and that race in the US is the Caucasian, sometimes misnamed "Aryan". He is also a nationalist to the point of being fascist and is additionally very authoritarian. An authoritarian white nationalist fascist is functionally a Nazi, and that is what Trump is. I'm not mischaracterizing anything, Trump made one quote on the advice of his staff that was careful and conciliatory. He was furious at having made it and re-quoted the quote above the next day. His advisors had informed him of the Nazi overtones and he was aware of them anyway, yet he went ahead with the quote anyway. Trump is a Nazi and proud of it, he thinks it goes over well with his "base" and that does seem to be what has happened.
