Everyone who has testified so far agrees: Ukraine was being extorted to the personal benefit of Donald Trump and no one else.

This is relevant portion for Taylor specifically.

And while the majority focuses on Trump's abuse of power, Republicans - most of whom are not showing up - are busy leaking the transcripts immediately after being given access (page 9) and railing about the Steele Dossier with witnesses who have no personal knowledge.

Let's see how many Trumpettes are publicly willing to say that they will not read the transcript like Lindsey Graham, even though that is part of his job.

Debatable and doesnt address Burisma Oil, but that's not really the issue.

It isn't like Ukraine was trying to share information or that a domestic investigative agency was requesting information from Ukraine. Instead, Trump was demanding a public statement from the Ukrainian President that he would investigate those issues.

 

And?

 

The only person who benefits from such an announcement is Donald trump in his personal domestic re-election campaign.

 

And no matter how obvious Trump's wrongdoing is, you will give him a pass, defend him and even cheer him on.

 

Except it's not wrong to investigate Ukraine's involvement in 2016.

 

Except the only reason we know about it is leaking Democrats, as I've already explained.

No. We know about it because Trump engaged in a shadow diplomatic campaign that was so pervasive and corrupt that multiple Intelligence and State Department officials raised alarms, resulting in a Whistleblower Complaint that the Trump appointed ICIG found credible and urgent and thus required a reporting to Congress.

The only reason we know about his report is because Democrats won the House in 2018. Enjoy the Impeachment.

 

Then do so with your own investigative agencies and let them explain to you why that conspiracy theory is bullshit.

Instead Trump held up hundreds of military aid unless and until the Ukrainian President was willing to make a public statement that he was investigating.
