In American cities controlled by Democrats, one might suppose there the ill, the out of luck types, the homeless would have it made. But they suffer and get removed from cities. This is called passing the buck.
Liberals are always claiming not to be liberals. You can make claims about "many" of this group and "many" of that group, but in general, the professor's findings on conservative generosity and liberal stinginess are valid, contrary to the arrogant and dishonest Talking Points of liberals for the past forty years. Finally, most criminals are perfectly sane. They're just evil. Stop making excuses and trying to weasel around facts that you dislike.
1) I am not Democrat -- I am a Classical Liberal. I disagree with both Liberals and Conservatives. 2) Unfortunately private charities are vastly inadequate in helping the 47 Million people in USA who suffer Mental Disability. 3) Unfortunately in USA 1999 - 2016, 572,000 people died by guns. Here.[/ur] Most killers and the vast majority of suicides were incompetent to make a decision. Those who enable these people to obtain firearms bear much responsibility.
1) Liberals consider me Conservative, Conservatives consider me Liberal. I am neither -- I am a Classical Liberal. 2) Many criminals and almost all suicide perpetrators are insane.
Is this the abhorrent President you keep demeaning? Save time by starting at minute 25. A thing I do not like about Trump is he is late a lot of the time. Bush was very prompt.
There are so many restrictions vis a vis guns we can't blame republicans for lost lives. As to liberal or conservative, if you are actually a classic liberal, you side with republicans. As I recall this, it was republicans having to fight to get background checks. But that is not bad so long as it works against the true killers. But you claim it is not the solution as I read you. https://www.atf.gov › ... › Firearms › Tools & Services for Firearms Industry Brady Law. On November 30, 1993, the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act was enacted, amending the Gun Control Act of 1968. The Brady Law imposed as an interim measure a waiting period of 5 days before a licensed importer, manufacturer, or dealer may sell, deliver, or transfer a handgun to an unlicensed individual.
Because he is SOOOOO good. Just ask him. That is vintage liberal talk - being so much better than everyone else, but still trying to escape the mantle of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has 40% of Americans in its thrall. They can't help themselves, really.
On some issues I side with Republicans -- Equality for all people, Free Speech for all. On some issues I side with Democrats. Guns must be kept away from anyone who can use them for homicide/suicide. I would not oppose a gun ban. I support Welfare State as it exists in Canada and Scandinavia. All Humans are Created Equal including those who can not provide for themselves due to a mental disability. I believe tobacco and motorcycles should be taxed heavily. They bring unreasonable amount of death as well.
I am not better/worse then most people. I am much less able then most people -- Autism and Depression are part of me! All Humans have Paramount Innate Value. Abandoning people who can not support themselves is inhumane.
The things you back are not classically liberal. Canada and Scandinavia qualify as not a lot more than village communities. Our major problems are in heavy Democratic party areas. Taxes should never be punishment and only for needed revenue. Again a classic liberal agrees with me.
Should you inhabit this country or should you better be served say in Canada or perhaps a Scandinavian country?
Are you aware that there are help groups that support people with your conditions? What have you done to contact such groups?
In my opinion, rich people will not suffer even if they are taxed heavily. I am proud of my great-grandparents who were building the Soviet Union in 1919. Sadly, in 1930s, USSR turned to Totalitarianism.
That is a selfish way to see things. It means to hell with the rich that you know a lot better than they know.
I remember and I believe it was under Clinton that we were taxed about 50% of our income. I kind of got upset and my husband pointed out that it doesn’t affect our standard of living one bit.. Do you think someone who makes millions will change his standard of living if he has to pay a few thousand more ?
This is one issue where I agree with Liberals -- millionaires and more so billionaires can and should pay more taxes. People in need should get more help.
