Presdient's DON'T come into office with political capital? Of course they do. What a stupid thing to claim. He is. That's not the point. The point is that he lost to Clinton, had no mandate and could not get his signature policy (Teh Wall!!1!) passed by his own party. Are you willing to discuss the points, or are you just going to retreat into cliches? The Dem base pays no taxes? You know that's not true.
If those Democrats make 2020 all about Trump the Oval Office will be a Turd swamp for four more years.
Perhaps, but that's what I said about a black guy named Hussein. And frankly, that was a farther stretch. HUSSEIN?!?! I thought Obama was fantastic the first time I saw him interviewed, on Meet the Press. But at first I didn't support him because I didn't think he had a remote chance of winning. Frankly, his looks, stature and voice are bigger problems, IMO... not that it should be but human nature wins almost every time. And he doesn't come across as presidential to me. Hopefully some coaching will help. I am very interested in his high popularity with conservatives.
I appreciate it. These results represent only those who answer unidentified calls and have time for surveys. There is a spam call epidemic, so most people ignore unidentified callers.
Kidding about what? The old folks knew him as an actor, and California knew him as a Governor, but he was entirely new to younger people and anyone outside of Ca, In fact, being the former Governor of Ca was a huge liability in red states.
He was plastered all over the news pre GOP primaries, and after. As he was a former California Governor, and actor, I didn't know anyone who DIDN'T know him.
I hate liberals.. leftists in particular. My mother was SDS. No clue what you mean about what I was at the time.
He's an interesting candidate, but I would say his looks and age are against him. The fact he hasn't caught on with African Americans will sink him. He would make a good VP as an understudy.
I know more than a few democrats who are not voting democrat in 2020, they are remaining democrats but they cant stand this current crop and their socialist far left agenda. There is a very big difference between a democrat and a far left progressive and a socialist. Im guessing theres alot of disenchanted middle of the road working class democrats.
It already is all about Trump. Trump has made it that way. He said repeatedly before the Midterms that a vote for so-and-so is a vote for me. He also tried to make the Kentucky governor race a referendum on himself.
He may be able to pull republican votes in the general. Of all people, my crazy right-wing friend was telling how popular he is with, get this, some of the militia groups. Then I noticed that he is registering among republicans generally. I don't know yet but I want to learn more about him.
And yet, in their last poll before the election, that same newspaper had Clinton losing by 2 in Georgia. She lost by five. https://www.ajc.com/october-2016-poll/ In 2012, they had Obama losing to Romney by 8. Obama lost to Romney by 7.8%. https://www.ajc.com/news/national/georgia-statewide-poll/ Bad polls don't have that kind of success. Their past polling has been remarkably accurate. It's likely that their current polling is also very accurate.
