Really. Who Has Not "felt it"? Please speak up. Consumerism drives the economy and people are spending. People do not spend if they worry their job will be gone next month. Likewise, newly unemployed. Deficit spending? How much is truly Trump and how much is "programmed" before Trump. Argue "statistics" and whose they are. See first paragraph above! Moi No
Consumers are spending by going further into debt. A common side effect of GOP tax-cutting economics.
Democrats are mad that they lost 2016 and can no longer manage America's decline. Democrats invest in foreign companies like in the Ukraine and then use their power in America to crush American companies.
I was making twice the median household income during Clinton and Bush aso yous guys are way behind the curve, and dear old Dad was cruising at $200k in the 1990-2006 time frame. Why do yous people earn so little?
Did YOU deserve it? If it were a conversion to the Eisenhower Tax Code with numbers converted to 2017 units - would you bank $14K (converted) or owe more?
Which foreign companies has the Democrats(I am guessing you are inferring to the DNC or is it individuals that are buying these companies you are always so generically generalizing to broadcast your rhetorical propaganda ad hoc? ) And which US companies have been crushed( I am guessing that you are not being literal.)?
For example, Democrats send their family members to serve on energy companies in the Ukraine while regulating American energy companies out of business to the point it would take a magic wand to bring them back. I'm sure many other family members of Democrats serve on foreign companies all over the world while Democrats destroy their competitors here in America.
There are people that come from Republicans backing families doing the same yet you feel it is only wrong if people who support the Democratic Party do it...Hmmm...You get paid well to be a tool and a fool?
Republicans that act like Democrats are called rinos. I think rinos are worse then Democrats because they lie about who they are.
Raised taxes on the wealthy?? You've got to be kidding. Posters shouldn't be that ignorant of the facts. Care to back that up?
I wonder if Democrats will vote to extend the tax cuts like they did the bush tax cuts. Remember when Democrats said all the same BS about the Bush tax cuts, then voted to extend them?
I see these stats and wonder who are seeing these gains? For people who do hard work in construction are making working poor wages...still. Years ago these were middle class jobs. Work has been devalued. At least in the south. And construction is skilled labor. Lets see anyone who sits on their arse go and build a new home. Most of my family are in this field . And this field is full of illegal aliens brought in to depress american wages.
He’s the King of Debt obviously. This is what happens when we put a child in office who has had more major bankruptcies than almost any other American.
Those are the official numbers from the Census Bureau https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2019/income-poverty.html However, the author of the article cites "former researchers and now statisticians at Sentier Research" as his source.
Upon further reading, the source that the author cites suggests that median incomes have increased from $55,841 in June of 2011 to $66,214 in September of 2019 https://www.sentierresearch.com/rep...ome_Trends_Report_September_2019_10_30_19.pdf I'm not sure what period the author of the article constitutes as being post recession, but his math seems to be inconsistent with the source he is citing
That;s what I found too. No trace of the actual 2019 numbers on the Census website. That's why the OP is conspicuously silent on backing up the initial claim that they are Census numbers, not numbers massaged by a private firm with an ineology to grind.
Of course they will. Once the tax cut genie is out of the box, it is extremely difficult to put it back in. Of course, the GOP did that on purpose, because then they can blame the Dems on the deficit. Typical cynical shenanigans that are so obvious, but so easily missed by the vast majority of Trump fans.
There is a cited source, but there is a little bit of a trail to follow. The article in the OP sources another article that the author wrote for Fox, which in that article they cite sentier research as the source behind the numbers. However, upon reading the report from the cited source, the numbers which the author used demonstrating growth between this administration and the previous administration are not consistent with the numbers presented by the source he cited, because the report from sentier research shows median income levels were $55,841 in June of 2011, and $66,214 in September of this year. https://www.sentierresearch.com/rep...ome_Trends_Report_September_2019_10_30_19.pdf It's unclear how he came up with the two numbers showing $1,200 growth under Obama and $5,000 growth under Trump. I suspect he may be mixing sources, and not citing the second source he used for the numbers he presented for Obama. Also, the author is merely presenting numbers for increases in incomes, but not attempting to make any proper adjustments for increases in the overall cost of living
You'll get no sympathy from me for crying about losing your SALT deductions. Complain to the officials in your own state if your SALT are too high. It was never fair to make the rest of us essentially pay the difference for you folks living in over-taxed predominately blue states in the first place. Cry me a river about losing your SALT deductions. I have zero sympathy. I agree. Most lefties have destroyed their credibility by reacting to literally everything with "but but but, Trump baaaaad!" Exactly. Consumer optimism is booming, hence I'm doing nicely now under Trump. Conversely I struggled under Obama. My business centers around an expensive nonessential luxury item, the kind of thing people buy when they're doing well and feel confident about the economy, but not so much under the gloomy mood of Obama's presidency and stagnant economy. So you support Trump's efforts to rein in illegal immigration?
