States need to start using their militia to arrest federal law enforcement in their territory.

It's time the states started enforcing their sovereignty by telling the feds to **** of their state. If it's not federal land they don't get a say over it. If they try to arrest a citizen for a crime that is legal in the state but not at the federal level the states should arrest the arresting officer and charge them with violating the state's sovereignty.

They should disband their national guard and transfer only those loyal to the state to the state defence force. The feds will back off once the states start flexing.

Except for the fact that the national guard has not really been a state unit since the 1970s.

Then tell them to get off state land and into the federal land. I don't know why they tolerate them. No need to have an arm of the federal government in their backyard

Only when it is it pursuance of the constitution. But the federal courts like to ignore that clause. If the law has nothing to do with an enumerated power it is a law that only applies on federal land as it is not superior to state laws.

State law enforcement has no jurisdiction over federal law enforcement. States can not prevent federal law enforcement from enforcing federal law. If the DEA decided to raid Colorado dispensaries they can not be stopped by local police. Federal law trumps state law.

this is basic 6th grade civics.

You might be surprised at how much bipartisan support for that idea is out there.
The Deep State is becoming more repulsive to more ordinary Americans everyday.

I have mixed feelings, but I see your point.

Libs don’t want federal “interference” on marijuana or sanctuary laws, but on every other subject under the sun they want an active federal government with unlimited power to dominate our lives.

Both sides want to infringe on the sovereignty of the otherside when they take power, which is why we should both try to leave each other alone and support an amendment that would nerf the federal government.

It would be ideal, if we could put a wall around your state.

I venture to suggest that most American people have no taste for the idea of state governments throwing their weight around regarding their local laws. People want to have pretty much the same laws when they go from one state to the other and not have to give any thought about them changing just because they cross a line on a map..

Are you cool with allowing blue states to completely ban guns if red states can completely ban abortion?

That retort doesn't even make sense, where in the Constitution does it say "we have a right to kill children "

An amendment that does the following 5 things would make literally everyone happy.

    1. Makes all federal laws that are not directly linked to the enumerated powers only apply to federal land
    2. Allow states free reign for the states to make any law as long as it allows for a fair trial and treats everyone equally.
    3. Remove redistribution of wealth between the states and get rid of direct ability to tax incomes going back to proportional tax from the state
    4. Let states once again have their own citizenship and their own immigration policy separate from the federal government
    5. Remove federal aid and leave it to the states to fund everything and help the poor.

This way it is left to the hands of the state and its on them.

I am not talking about the constitution, I am talking about, are you good with the Bill of rights only applying to the federal government and letting the states do what they want. You seem to have an issue with democrat states banning guns yet it does not affect your state, in the same way liberal have an issue with republican states banning abortions.

Either you support states being free to do as they wish or you don't.

How about an amendment kicking California and New York, New Jersey out of the union?

No. Federal law trumps state law. A federal law would have to be ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, in order for it to be nullified. States have no authority or ability to do so. So as I pointed out, there is nothing at all the state of Colorado could do if the DEA decided to raid dispensaries and arrest everyone involved.
