Moi spaketh - Botanic Photosynthesis. Oceans and land Sequester carbon. Fostering algae will create fisheries. Not making estuaries into Landfill real estate would help that too. Trying reading it slower or please Explain to me the contradiction you perceive. Admittedly I have reading / writing problems. Moi
I felt protected after I could drive through Birmingham without coughing. You don't think pollution hurts humans?
Coral feeds on the algae it has inside it's body (called zooxanthellae). Coral does not feed on other algae. Coral is carnivorous, besides it's internal algae. External algae tends to smother coral. https://floridakeys.noaa.gov/corals/coralseat.html We don't want to encourage algae growth. Here's some of what happens with excess algae growth. https://www.fox13news.com/news/tests-reveal-new-florida-algae-blooms-too-toxic-to-touch https://www.livescience.com/63330-toxic-blue-green-algae-florida.html
It's not nothing, no. They have witnessed the change. They don't claim to know the cause, but the change is very real.
Glad to know you agree Corals feed on some algae. Plankton. etc. And the wrong kind of algae can be toxic. ttfn
Pardon? Yes, my friends have 'documented' it. They have medical records, weather records, Govt information on sudden deaths from heatstroke, etc.
Corals do not feed on algae. They feed on zooplankton (which is tiny animals, not algae). Anyway, it's silly to promote algae growth, except in a farming situation, to use it as an alternative fuel. We don't need more algae in the waterways of the U.S. or the ocean.
Take the last word. If you must. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out repeated instances where placing a "THINGIE" that can float and even maintain a tidal effect releasing phosphate and nitrogen fertilizers in the deep ocean where there is no fishery will, create a fishery in months. Promoting the algae brings in little fish that bring in bigger fish. Oh, The Biology Of It All! Moi BSc Biology, Magna Cum Laude & Honors. No
You may be able to find them online somewhere. My friends are medical professionals though, so probably have access to non-public records.
I live in a hotter place than Florida and don't use airconditioning. In my country, it's actually more likely that elderly people won't have airconditioning, and they're usually fine. Those who expire in a heatwave do so for other reasons; ie pre-existing medical conditions, or because they behaved irresponsibly.
Humans, yes humans. We need a human protection agency not an environmental protection agency. We need to protect humans from harmful environmental elements, most of which but not all occur quite apart from human agency.
Nothing of what? I really don't know what you're trying to say. WHATEVER the cause, the world is getter hotter. That increase is felt most dramatically in places which were already hot .. rendering some almost beyond survivable.
Nobody is claiming that the globe is not warming. The IPCC consensus is 0.03 degrees Centigrade per year. If the average summer temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit now it will be 105 one hundred years from now. That’s adaptable realizing that technology progresses and the standard of living increases.
Not really. I totally support the EPA with the 70s era regulations. I can see and feel the difference in our air quality. Pollution does harm humans. It's why we created the EPA. Why don't you move to China if you want to see what happens when there are no regulations on pollution.
