The state is not "certain people." It is an organized community that exercises sovereign authority in a certain area. You already know that is false. You KNOW that all land started out unowned, and remained unowned until forcibly appropriated at some point in the last few thousand years. It was not owned by either individuals or states. So YOU KNOW that non-ownership of land is a possible alternative, like non-ownership of the sun, the oceans, the earth's atmosphere, the alphabet, etc. You know this. Why do you pretend you do not? How stupid, ignorant, and/or dishonest would a person have to be to claim that all the people who lived before land was ever appropriated as private property were communists?
It's either people or it's aliens. Which is it? I don't want a few certain people to own all the land. I don't like monopolies. I would rather that millions of people each own a bit of land.
So you favor rule by a mob of aspiring murderers. Thought so. We already know how that turns out, thanks. <yawn> Oh, really? Statists who somehow took over before there was any such thing as states? How did those statists ever emerge, hmmmmmmm? Not compared to your silly, irrational garbage.
Only because in your country, others' rights to liberty trump your right to property. Denial ain't just a river in Africa... Sure you have. You have argued that landowners should be entitled to enslave the landless. I'm not the one exhuming "arguments" that were already known to be fallacious over 150 years ago because they were used to justify slavery.
You know that all land is naturally unowned, and that I have stated many times that land cannot rightly be owned by any person, organization or institution. Why do you pretend not to know it?
No you are not. You are in favor of theft -- and murder for that matter -- as long as it is committed by landowners against the landless.
This post reminds me of when they where building the Kennedy Express way in Chicago.. I thought the left was progressive in building super highways and defending our country?
I'm kind of literal. So were you saying that you think it's okay for one person to take their neighbors stuff?
So you are opposed to the border wall, if it means taking land from American citizens. I am in agreement.
I own land and pay property taxes on it every year. bringiton, does that qualify for giving back to society for my use of the land?
