“I’m taking this time for myself to be able to review everything that’s happened all the information that’s been put forward,” Gabbard told a crowd at Furman University in Greenville, S.C. on Monday. “And just all the factors that go into really trying to figure out what what is the best action to take for our country. And for democracy. It’s not a simple or easy decision to make.”

At the October Democratic debate, Gabbard voiced concern over impeachment. “Trump won his election, and as unhappy as that may make us as Democrats, he won that election in 2016,” Gabbard said. “[Impeachment] will only further divide an already terribly divided country.”

Its sounding like Tulsi may vote against impeachment.

In the past, she's voiced concern over how destructive partisan impeachment would be.

She said she does not wish to further divide the country.

Heck, in the past Pelosi, Nadler and Schiff voiced concern about how destructive partisan impeachment would be.

She does not wish to alienate the Trump voters who see her as an alternative to the great messiah

It's their only out. Once it gets to the Senate there is no censure.

I don't know how you got that idea in your head.

    She's a Democrat-just not the DNC's pick.

She is however, the most acceptable democrat to many Trump supporters.

Maybe this is why Nadler called in sick today.

Well, she is a good Russian asset.

Granted, she better be careful as angering the left might get her exiled/suicided.

I don't know much about her but she did serve in the military and that is a big plus for me. If she ran against Trump she would probably get my vote. She does look like a rising star. But I also don't think she can beat Trump... Trade deficits , illegal immigration , and these wasteful foreign wars were my biggest issues. Now if someone could come up with a way to fight climate change without making bankers richer using climate change as a tradeable commodity .... and affordable healthcare not run by the insurance industry ....

She already voted "yes" for drawing up articles of impeachment. If she was going to vote "no" she could have already done it. My guess is she will vote "yes".

For the record, I'd be glad to have a censure instead of impeachment and have Trump thrown out by the voters next year. However, the Dems in the House are not doing the Senate Republicans the favor of letting them off the hook of putting in their vote. The world has to see who the Trump lackeys are.

Yes she's an Army Major so its hard to make the case that she's not patriotic. She's also anti-war which is a stark change from many dems.

As for being a rising star-she is now-but for the unforgivable crime of disagreeing with the democrat party establishment-she's persona non grata at the DNC.

Dems are already running a challenger for her next election, she is smeared as a "russian asset" by dems, she's ignored at debates, etc.

Trump should give her some sort of appointment and make the DNC's head explode.

She should just vote against it. There is no need for a censure.

Pretty sure Hawaiian's have a history of eating their enemies. Captain Cook met his end in a Sandwich... Isle.

It's one thing to make these types of comments. To vote against impeachment would be pretty risky in terms of losing base support, in my opinion. It probably isn't worth it. I agree it will be interesting to see, but I doubt she will ultimately vote against personally. Still, making comments like this demonstrate a certain ability to be the adult in the room and shows some class, in my opinion.

The DNC is doing everything it can to assure she has no future as is. She's got nothing to lose.

And yes, she has proven the ability several times to be the adult in the room-which is why she infuriates so many establishment dems.

I'd say she has probably already lost 'base support' but it will be interesting to see.

She voted in favor of impeachment proceedings so it's hard to imagine that she will now vote against impeachment. She has obviously developed some doubts now so I hope she shows some spine.

Not sure why she is bothering. It isn’t going anywhere and she will likely vote in favor of AOI.

That is her "exile"...being pounced on as a Russian asset by media and the blogosphere, before Hillary said it.

Tulsi was a "darling" newcomer and elevated to Vice Chairman of the DNC in 2016. She couldn't stand the dirty tricks and unfairness of how the party comrades ousted Bernie from the nomination process....so she quit. That's why they try to "suicide" her running now. She wasn't loyal to The Party.

I don't agree with her liberal ideology, but you've got to give her credit and respect for standing by her values and standards in speaking out against wrongdoing, even when it hurt her political career. She also has her own ideas on direction of the country ... so she's made a name for herself as an outsider.

The fact Hillary implied a Congresswoman is a Russian spy and the president also is working for Russia proves how dangerous an individual she is.

She says she is not going to run for reelection to the House, so who knows? She may actually vote against impeachment.

Everyone who doesn't agree with the DNC shall henceforth be deemed a "Russian!" I think they resurrected Joe McCarthy or are channeling his spirit for tactical advise on smearing any adversaries.

I agree that impeachment will only further divide the country. But that's only because conservatives are unreasonable and don't think Trump should be held accountable for his actions.
