There's already a blueprint for this and was sponsored by Ivanka Trump for all Federal Employees,
should the capitalist follow it?, I do think AOC do have the excellent point and foundation regarding this issue.

Out on the farm, women used to be able to do work with their baby close by in tow.

It seems the nature of work has changed. People are no longer making and producing things on their own time.

Well, there are still a few types of work that people can do on their own schedules. And I remember in school there was one class where the teacher changed every other day. Apparently two woman teachers had decided they only wanted to work part-time so they got together and the school made a special arrangement for them both to partner together to take on a single position.

Of course in places like where AOC is living, people have to work full time to pay the cost of rent.
There is a reason why big cities like New York don't have many families.

Hmmm. As a free market is nothing but the reflection of free choices by free individuals, it’s the parents of these babies making that choice.

However, according to AOC, government bureaucrats and Socialist politicians, like AOC, can make those decisions for us, and do it better...for the good of all, of course.

Thanks AOC, don’t know how all those babies made it without you and the government’s gun to show is parents how to do it better.

But the childless are not given a choice, they have part of the taxes they pay given to other people as a reward for having children.

The system I grew up in seemed to work pretty well. Mama stayed home and managed the house and kept an eye on the kids and daddy went to work and paid the bills. Believe it or not it still works pretty well for a lot of Americans.

And the family had as many children as they could afford, not as many as they thought the taxpayer could afford.

Simply solution: Separation between education and the State. In other words, end public education, embrace free-market principles, and live your life by your own effort, not off the effort of others.

I always felt Washington wanted women on the work force to keep ahead of Japan and Germany. Their economies were growing quite fast at the time, so they encouraged the feminist movement. At least in the USSR the grandparents took care of the children, but today they're in nursery school from morning until night - which is terrible.

Someone sent me the following by Jay Leno:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    TO ALL THE CHILDREN
    WHO SURVIVED THE
    1930’s, 40’s, and 50’s !!

First, we survived being born to mothers who may have smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then, after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored Lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets, and, when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps, not helmets, on our heads.

As infants and children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes..

Riding in the back of a pick-up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter, and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar and we weren't overweight.

WHY? Because we were always outside playing...that's why!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.
No one was able to reach us all day ... And, we were OKAY.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes! After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Play Stations, Nintendos and X-boxes. There were No video games, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVDs, no surround-sound or CDs, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet and no chat rooms.

WE HAD FRIENDS, and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits from those accidents.

We would get spankings with wooden spoons, switches, ping-pong paddles, or just a bare hand,
and no one would call child services to report abuse.

We ate worms, and mud pies
made from dirt, and those worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, 22 rifles for our 12th, rode horses, made up games with sticks and tennis balls, and although we were
    told it would happen
    - we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them.

Little League had try outs and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn
To deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of … They actually sided with the law!

These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers, and Inventors ever.

The past 60 to 85 years have seen an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.

If YOU are one of those born between 1925-1955, CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as children before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.

    The quote of the month
    by
    Jay Leno:

"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist
attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"

For those that prefer to think that God is not watching over us... go ahead and delete this.. For the rest of us..... please pass this on.

If He's watching over us, He's failing, miserably. Man, on the other hand, is on the cusp of ending aging, space colonization, and immortality. Trust God? No thanks, I'll trust the most powerful known force in the universe, the creative human mind, which has ended polio, wiped out smallpox, built buildings that touch the heavens, and soars to explore the universe, near and far.

And turned all their achievements to ash, and will continue to do so. So enjoy the achievements - that is if the world still exists. Do you have any idea what is going on in the Middle East, Far East and Arctic?

I'm known as Thor the God of War.
I fight on land and fight on shore,
and listen to the trumpets sound
while men are dying all around.

Their cries of pain I hear with glee
    who cares about their misery,
for being masters of our fate
engrosses us with scorn and hate -

    towards everyone.

Home schooling is the best, that way everyone can instill their own values into their children. Of course if your children are difficult, then it's not an easy task. I assume that some people who home school, (and there are millions), do try to form groups - but I'm just guessing here. I don't really know!

What I do know is that children who are homeschooled are 2 to 4 years ahead of others.

Not to build, but to analyze on how it was built and to utilize the faculties and materials given to us in a productive way. We must also recognize our limitations, and that we are not the 'Creator' but merely a part of creation.

I thought Jay Leno was a leftist progressive. Don't know because I don't watch. Is he a conservative?

You could not live in a modern society with only your individual effort. If you prosper well you better thank the effort of others for providing what you alone cannot provide.

But what you believe sounds idealistic even if it reeks of rainbows and pretty unicorns.

Such idealists these people on the fringes.

Grandparents do that in Asia. The parents are busy working (to support the children and grandparents). It's a very good system, actually.

It is very dangerous to not respect those you see against you. Mark Blyth, Professor of Political economics at Brown University was praising her again and again in a video I was listening to. He believes she knows what she is doing and knows how to do it. While you are dismissing her calling her crazy she will be achieving what she wants - or is it because she is a woman you believe she is 'crazy' and does not make valid arguments worthy of reply?

Raising them is a bit much. I think when the kids live nearby and the grandparents are retired a lot do do a lot of the child care. That's because both parents need to work to put food on the table, not because they do not want to be with their children. My daughter will be taking 9 months maternity leave starting only 1 week before due date - the last three months I think with no pay. She will then work four long days rather than 5 shorter so that she can have at least one extra day with the new baby.
