    Iranian militia leader Hadi al-Amiri, one of several identified as leading an attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday, reportedly visited the White House in 2011 during the presidency of Barack Obama.

    On Tuesday, a mob in Baghdad attacked the U.S. embassy in retaliation against last weekend’s U.S. airstrikes against the Iran-backed Shiite militia Kataib Hezbollah (KH), responsible for killing an American civilian contractor. KH is one of a number of pro-Iran militias that make up the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF/PMU), which legally became a wing of the Iraqi military after fighting the Sunni Islamic State terrorist group. President Donald Trump has since accused Iran of having “orchestrated” the embassy attack and stated that the government would be “held fully responsible.”

    Once again we see Obama's political instincts were very bad for the US, but beneficial for our adversaries.

    Currently the US consulate in Iraq is being attacked by Iranian backed groups.

    Thankfully we have response forces already there to prevent any further attacks.

    HAHAHAHA. You spent the last 8 years making up stories about "The world is laughing at Obama....he is the laughing stock", and they LITERALLY laughed at Trump, and mock him publicly, yet you defend him and his international policy

    This story is beyond ridiculous.....you mean Obama met with someone who at the time was leading the fight against ISIS in Iraq....THAT GUY ?

    Middle-Eastern muslim leaders change allegiances and tactics about as often as they change their underwear. Any "Infidel" who trusts Muslims is flat-STOOPID!

    We NEVER should have gone barging into Iraq in 2003 because the truth is that nobody knew how to control all of those sons-of-bitches better than Saddam Hussein!

    Still, it will be interesting to see what Trump actually does besides talk. Iran is the real problem here -- not 'Hadi al-Amiri'....

    There is talk that this was supposed to be Trump's "Benghazi", a gift from the prior administration.

    No Americans have been harmed, reinforcements rapidly deployed, and Trump is sending a message that he's not going anywhere.

    Even though there are maneuvers underway between Iran, China, and Russia they all have a laughably small and outdated force, and are probably being trailed by several US subs.

    Really makes one wonder why Obama was meeting with an Iranian proxy at the white house.
