No, I have no trouble with comprehension. If we had that many casualties, Iran would already have their response at their doorstep.

Even if true, how is that relevant to what we have been discussing. Someone said Iran had "claimed" that Iran "intentionally missed" and I told them that wasn't the case. That Iran never made any such claims and, in fact, the opposite.

There are a lot of factors that suggest Iran was indeed trying to both bit the US strongly and not cause significant casualties. They include:

1- Timing of the strike. Although Iran said it picked the time to coincide with the time for drone attack on General Soleimani, it also was a time when most of the US forces wouldn't be wondering around a huge base and unless the attack targeted their sleeping quarters, which it didn't, they would be safe.
2- Iran gave Iraq some advance notice, and the Iraqi PM passed the information to the Americans, allowing the US to be well prepared for the hit in terms of protecting its soldiers.
3- Iran could have targeted facilities which have a greater "population density" than the air base it chose.

That said, Iran also had great reasons for choosing the Al Asad air base and doing what it did in the manner it did, including the fact that:

1- The Al Asad air base was the base from which the drone that killed General Soleimani operated from.
2- The Al Assad air base is the renovated base Trump had said the Iraqis need to pay for if they want the US to leave.
3- The Al Asad air base has been used in operations against the Imam Ali base not far in eastern Syria -- a base used by pro Iran forces.

If that was true i would have been banned. Which is not the case i am one of the few people on this forum that have been around as long as i have been with never being banned.. Infractions sure from time to time but not banned.

Now would you like to return to your comment about our men and women being attacked in Iraq? Sure they failed but the attempt was there.. I believe you called it a "black eye".

I agree. Iran intentionally pulled their punches, because they(wisely) feared the retaliation that would've resulted if they did any real damage.

So basically Iran challenged America to step outside the bar and fight, and then they threw a bottle that hit Iraq's car in the parking lot, and then American laughed, turned to walk back into the bar, and Iran whispered "That's right, you better walk away" real quiet so America wouldn't hear it.

America took out Soleimani and one of the leaders of the Iraqi Militia that attacked our embassy in the same airstrike.

Iran lobbed missiles into the desert hitting no one, and damaged a few soybeans.

I think Trump did quite well and the message has been sent and received by the Iranians. Meanwhile, the Leftists cheered Iran on.

It wouldn't be surprising if the regime "anonymously" was sending out propaganda to Iranians that there were significant casualties. Make the anti-West factions happy.

Then the West says, "No causalities", and the public is happy here too. (The thing is, that we know when our troops are injured or killed.)

How do we know that Iran's revolutionary guard didn't kill a bunch of Iraqi soybean farmers? (Rhetorical.)

In same Base were 100 German soldiers. Iran warned 15 minutes ahead. This was the face saving counterstrike. That Trump did Not respond directly Shows that both Sides want Cook it down.

Interesting. You're female, of young middle age, well educated and work in some organ of the Iranian government.

What's odd is that someone thinks propaganda inserted at this granular level is worthy of the effort.

    Odd.

I'm sure it didn't take Trump's empty threat about committing (another) war crime for Iran to take care about how they responded. They would have known either way that a serious attack on our forces or our interests would result in a devastating response for their third-rate military capabilities.
