    So she purchased a purebred puppy, while
    Animal shelters are filled with dogs that need homes or will be euthanized.

    She could have saved a dog, but I guess getting a purebred was more important.

    Don't you have to have an official DSM diagnosis from a psychologist to qualify your pet as a "personal security animal"?

    She plans to take the dog with her everywhere...as a "community pup".

    Yes! the goal is to train him to be a community pup. Ideally we want to work to the point where he can enjoy town halls, be an Amtrak pup, come to the office, etc.
