You make it sound as if the Republican Party is a criminal enterprise. Is that why all their spokesmen seem a bit creepy. Why they mostly sound like shady used car salesmen.

I don’t think I make them sound that way, they do.

The above is a post from mindless denial -with fallacious intent :) If you can't figure out that Congress stating "The US arming and supporting Al Qaeda" means that the President was arming and supporting Al Qaeda - I can not help you.

So, you were just kidding about personal civil rights ( bill of rights) and defending the constitution was more important then just majority rule.
Cause the mission of the aclu is just that.

Sometimes. It is, sometimes it's pushing a leftist agenda.

Yes, and no. More education is great as long as it IS vocational. Regular kids (ie, those who don't have billionaire parents) need to be trained to do actual jobs, not waste three years learning 'philosophy'.

They only push one agenda, protect the bill of rights. Now, if one doesn’t think everyone’s stated rights deserves protection , then the aclu is not for you. The gop has become an apartheid style political party. So, it struggles with the constitution.

Four year degrees make kids hireable in all sorts of jobs. Manufacturing wants college degrees, for example.

Kids need to be preparing for the future economy, not just getting a job today.

Leftist agenda. You mean stuff like climate change, universal healthcare and more effective gun laws ? These are all supported by 70-90% of American citizens. You have traitor Trump and Moscow Mitch.....all roads lead to Putin when it comes to the leader of the gop and righty’s.

Yes, that's my point. And all the experts say that means STEM. It won't mean 'any old degree', those days are already over. A kid who thinks they can survive the 21stC on a sociology degree is either too stupid for higher education, or has parents with pea sized brains (and enormous wealth).

There are 61,000 electrical engineering jobs alone open in the US. There are no voc schools that graduate students with electrical engineering degrees. These jobs are being slowly filled by immigrant labor with engineering degrees. Being against education, promotes loss of good paying jobs.

    Seriously ?
Degrees in sociology launch thousands of jobs in the following areas among many others...
Just in law enforcement alone......a career as a corrections officer, probation and parole agent, criminal investigator, police officer, FBI or CIA agent, Homeland Security worker, clerk of court, legal assistant, magistrate or bail agent.......and on and on....
    And, then there’s the military.

Demoncrats don't care about climate change , they want to use the environmental issues to control people and penalize industries they hate.

Universal health control. Got it, how we paying for that again?

More effective gun laws well since no gun law will ever be effective. I'm not sure what you mean, gun sellers report thousands of attempted illegal gun purchases every year but the doj does nothing.

How would you know about climate change ? You looking through peep holes at the universities. ? Chinese hoax...gotcha.
Everyother nation with universal healthcare pays less per person then we do. It saves money. I see you’re into paying the profits of insurance companies. Smooth.
Guns ? More guns means less violence ? Not in every study ever had......you’re into arming criminals ?

I've seen lots of links that say US arms fell into Al Qaeda hands, but not a one that says Obama gave Al Qaeda arms.
Evidently you can't supply one either.

I'll repeat myself: The experts are saying STEM is the future. If you doubt it, check technological progress since the turn of the century.

And we're going to need all the technical help we can get, going forward. Far more than we're currently prepared for. We need doctors, engineers, biologists, horticulturalists, physicists, dentists, plumbers, electricians, nurses, teachers, roofers, agricultural scientists, farmers, carpenters, boilermakers, machinists, etc etc.

Every one of those fields need 4 year degree individuals that understand people - marketing, product design, project/product/program management, communications of all kinds, those with other business skills.

The idea that you can create a winning product by hiring a bunch of engineers is a dead failure.

And, let's remember that a key element of a four year degree is learning how to learn. And, such degrees require credit in a variety of fields - not just their major. Those with degrees are in a better position to move around our rapidly changing job market. They aren't going to get left behind like many manufacturing employees have been (as noted in our last election).

I know about climate change because it gets shoved down my throat on a daily with how they want to steal my money and limit my behavior to accomplish nothing.

Another nation has a tiny population relative to America, i ask again, how YOU paying for it.

More stupid people having kids and not raising them well leads to violence guns have nothing to do with it.
It allows leftists who rely on the AA vote to avoid that bad cultural values cause most of our crime.

    What money is being stolen?
    What behavior is being limited?

Seeing how climate AGW the most long term dangerous threat to mankind, it should.
IMO, it’s the bellwether that indicates if anyone is educable or pretty much a lost cause, The GOP fought cigarette smoking, pollution from ozone layer depletion and just about anything that affected their donors.

From this point on, I can’t believe anyone who thinks they are smarter then the rest of the world.
    Moving on.

Nope, the experts say every field is avaiable for employment and those with college degrees, get the preference. Sociology is valuable in education, law enforcement and the military.
Been in STEM enough to know more then deniers of education ever will. We need education in all the fields. It’s ridiculous to think those with less aptitude in STEM can’t find jobs. They can in many unfulfilled areas.

there are tens of thousands of stem related jobs unfiekd, there are thousands of sociology jobs unfilled. One is more open then the other. But all fields have linkage to employment.

The experts say STEM related fields have the most demand and job openings. But, there are man6 other fields that are still open. STEM is not as big a driver in law enforcement as sociology is.
You’re bogus assertion that sociology is a lost cause is reficulously uninformed. Not everyone is educable in STEM.

We'll have to agree to disagree. If you think climate change is that kind of threat by all means put all your resources to fix the problem.. leave me out of it, I'm busy trying to figure out how to pay my mortgage and feed my wife.
