Obama knew how to say anything without pissing anyone off. IMO, thats only important to people that have emotional disorders.
A LOT of people thought those 5 teens did that. Not just Trump. And this happened in the 80's. How does that relate to Trump causing more division as POTUS than Obama? I don't recall where he mentioned or limited it to "African-American's" or "blacks" when he said "get that son of a bitch out of here". Perhaps you can point it out to all of us? You DO know that the NFL has more than just black players right? And that several white people kneeled with Kap also? That whole thing had to do with kneeling during the national anthem. Had nothing to do with race. Oh there probably would have been a fall out. But I doubt anyone would have called it racist. Why? Because its not racist. Calling a black person a name does not automatically make one a racist. He's called Rosie O'Donnell a dog before also, yet she's white. "A slur that racists use against blacks"....man you need to get out more because I've heard that "slur" a lot in my life, and funnily enough it has always been used against someone that a person thought was dumb regardless of race. In fact I'd bet you could go through this very forum and find thousands of posts with the words "low IQ" in them. They ARE rat infested inner city neighborhoods that are unfit to live in. And you know what...Baltimoreans agreed with Trump on his statement. And many of them think Trump is racist just like you. No offense but...your examples sucked. But I do have to give you props in that you didn't use the normal "Charlottesville" or "Mexicans are rapists" mantra. You actually tried to be original. So kudos to you for that. It is the media and those that see racism in everything that has been making everything racial and divisive.
At this point in time. We don't need a president who is polite, the rest of the world needs to be slapped back into reality.
Trump is my favourite POTUS of all time because him being able to win the elections proves that a lot of Americans are fed up with the establishment and that it is possible to win an election without being a broiler. Trump, basically, won as a third party candidate and spent only 1/3 of what Hillary spent. He had the whole GOP against him and not one single mainstream journalist ever said anything good about him. Yet he won. My pick is Trump; More because of the phenomenon that he is and what his victory tells about current affairs. Trump shows there is - at least - a glimmer of hope in both domestic and foreign affairs.
AND despite all of that, the 94% negative press, the daily withering attacks from the swamp, Repub and Dem and the rest of the globalist, he is winning and he has done more for the American people than the last dozen or so Presidents combined.
Trump focused only on his core issues; trade, immigration and war. This was all he ever talked about. It was not that he did not have answers for other questions, but he was always very clear on where he stood and was not interested in getting into the private lives of everyday Americans or about other irrelevant "bourgeoisie interests" such as Identity Politics and whatnot. This should teach future candidates something - Focus on a few unpopular matters and hammer it over and over and over again. Trump did it and Ron Paul did it before him. It worked for Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage too. It works. Maybe there is hope, but it would be naive to get too excited.
Do you mean like “ lock her up, I’m going to build a wall, trade wars are easy to win, etc, etc?” He certainly did concentrate on a few issues and hammer them.
OK, assuming what you say is kind-of, sort-of true, how many other 'friends' do we have in the entire Middle East...?
This 'friend' caused millions death and trillions wasted in sand. Let Israel do its business by itself
"On the verge of nuclear war"...? Oh, and when exactly was THAT...? Wow! I can't believe I totally missed it! I would have rushed out and gotten a new bottle of iodine pills if I'd known about how close Trump came to getting us destroyed in a nuclear war! Between what races? Aren't you the one who, in a different thread, was trying to preach to the rest of us that there ARE NO RACES... and that the mere mention of a description like "Negro" is RACIST...? How about "Caucasian"... or, "Oriental"...? As far as Trump creating racial 'division', please refer to current, factual STATISTICS and see how much better Black unemployment is in the United States during the Trump Administration than at ANY previous time.... Obama was good at dishing WELFARE (in return for votes)... but the economy under Trump is providing more jobs and earned-money for everybody who wants to work -- REGARDLESS OF "RACE".... ************* To both of you... do either of you actually think about what you're writing, or do you just type this stuff to give your fingers something to do...? ***************
No, no, Moriah.... Go back to high school and repeat any one of about three or four classes where you SHOULD have been taught this! You are saying obama knows how to use his mouth better than Trump. Many boys down at the Chicago bath house would agree.
Obama was good at reading prepared speeches on teleprompter! Remember what it was like when Obama tried to speak extemporaneously? Remember in 2010, when Obama gave an address to the Parliament of India? He was the only person who ever used a teleprompter there! Link: https://www.livemint.com/Politics/X...-a-debut-in-Parliament-when-Obama-speaks.html From the story at the link: "Obama will take the help of a teleprompter to deliver his address to the 780-odd members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, sources said. Parliament authorities said this will be the first time that such a facility will be arranged in the central hall. Obama’s reliance on the teleprompter is unusual--not only because he is famous for his oratory, but because no other president has used one so consistently and at so many events, large and small." Whatever else he was (or wasn't), Obama sure as hell was not some great 'orator'.... . Still, he did what his 'handlers' told him to do... and it was enough.
