That is literally what he argued to the federal courts. But thankfully, his word is not the final decider...yet.
Turn off Fox News (the only part of the corpse the Mouse didn't want) and pay attention to the real world.
He didn't even manage that though. Won an an outdated technicality after losing by almost 4 million votes to the most hated candidate in history.
What I don't understand: Before the House "investigation", nearly all Dems said Trump was guilty and needed to be impeached. They were not impartial. But now the impeachment is in the Senate and the House Dems are saying the Senate Republicans need to be impartial and have no prior thoughts on guilt or innocence.
The House members do not take an oath before the start of the impeachment investigation to "do impartial justice" as the Senators must before the start of the trial.
The Dems had their minds made up *before* any evidence was presented. But now, *after* the evidence has been presented, they expect the Republicans to still not to have an opinion. That’s asking a lot.
In other words, the House members are allowed to plot and scheme and lie, and the Senate members are not? Oh boy
He did manage that and not on any technicality. Our presidential elections are decided by the electoral vote. There is only one way(and has been for a very very very long time)to win the presidency: have more electoral votes than your competition.
I'm so ashamed of my beloved state of Colorado... I wish, escaping Californians move someplace else instead of here - Texas, maybe?
Our governor said Texas isn't taking any more refuges in 2020. I am hoping he meant to include California Democrats in that proclamation.
They all signed the oath to be impartial yesterday. All 100 of them. I'm sure they will do the right thing. And quickly.
No. You're axing Republican Senators to forgo their oath to their voters, and to hurt America. That is what you're axing.
You're not asking Republican Senators to be impartial; you're asking them to convict President Trump because, in your mind, he must be convicted. It really is that simple.
