That is still a claim. All the law shows is what gets legal benefits. Is it your claim that marriage is only legal benefits?
I've quoted it. The link specifically shows you what is required to be a marriage. I have proven this, as youknow.
Not until you can quote the section of law that makes it so. You claim the law says so, yet you can never quote the words that make it a supposedly legal fact.
You don't have a single quote of law in this entire thread. The best you have is a link to a law, that you can't even specific quote the appropriate section and words that support your assertion.
Actually you do. A link is not sufficient. We have read it and find nothing that supports your assertion. So it is upon you to point out the specific wording that supports your assertion, in the same manner that I provided the specific sections of the source that pertained to my assertion that gender can be legally changed. I even provided another source showing that religious marriage and legal marriage are two real and separate things, AND quoted an directly supporting section. This is what you are failing to do. Now comes the section that you are.most likely not to read and even less likely to actually address. Just as I have shown that physical gender and legal gender are two real and separate things, independent of each other, so too have I shown, with linked evidence and quoted sections, that religious marriage and legal marriage are two real and separate things, independent of each other. The most you have given is a link, that no one can find what you claim it holds within. Furthermore, I predict that you will only quote "Actually, you do.", reply with something along the lines of "No I don't. Do your own research" and never even address the rest of the post. This has been, after all, your SOP for most of this thread, along with unsupported claims.
I do not. I’ve already given you the link to the state marriage requirements for Ohio. They list the requirements of a marriage. Sorry.
Totally called it. Those requirements are only for legal marriage and in no way shows that religious marriage does not exist.
Once more not addressing the whole post, which means you don't address actually points that show you are wrong....not that you will ever admit it. The law you posted only shows the requirements for legal marriage, not all forms of marriage. There is nothing there to explicitly say that religious marriage does not exist. Only that legal marriage is the only form used for legal benefits. You have never quoted anything, quoted not claimed, that shows religious marriage does not exist. In fact you don't quote any source ever.
I address the relevant parts. I’ve shown you what is required for a marriage to be a marriage. You can stomp your feet all you want but they won’t change reality. If you have a ceremony involving yourself and 5 other women, only 1 of them would be your wife.
You have only shown what is required for a marriage to be legal, not that it can't be separately religious as well or instead. This is reality and you have yet to quote word to show otherwise. You have claimed a single link and various laws supposed contains what you claim, yet you cannot quote the actual word. Cite page and post in which you did so, which you can't. You are basically saying, "I'm right and I won't prove it". I have proven my side with multiple quoted sources. You have quoted NOTHING! You are factually wrong, have been proven as such, and you are only using emotional arguments, with nothing quoted to factually support. Without a quote of the specific wording, it is still a claim.
That's not showing that religious marriage doesn't exist. It shows it's not used for legal purposes. You have not shown that legal marriage is the only type. It's the only type for legal benefits. Religious marriage is for religious purposes. They are separate. This is elementary concept level. Both factually exist and neither can cause the non existence of the other.
No, that is your ludicrous INTERPRETATION of it. You're saying that because it "shows you what is required to be a marriage" THEREFORE there is only one form of marriage.
