It's one thing for Trump to announce that there were no injuries if he was unaware. But after he was made aware, he made light of the injuries because that is what someone with no empathy and no real respect for sacrifice or courage would do.
Because unbeknownst to many, the stable genius is also a neurologist. So while the researchers are looking at veterans with a variety of symptoms, such as PTSD, alcohol abuse, and sleep problems, which tend to co-occur with traumatic brain injuries, we can rest assured that Dr. Bone Spurs has got it covered.

Could you imagine if prior administrations covered up injuresof our troops and then completely ignored the situation?

Right? Oh the impeached one will do some kind of photo-op with Melanoma* visiting these troops and all but actual empathy is nonexistent. It's also his fault.

No!No! It is everyone else’s fault!

The troops should have known better than to be in a firing line!

    If this had been Obama..........:ashamed:

Obama would never had gotten this far into his Presidency if he had perpetrated just 1% of what
TRE45ON has. The entire party has joined the crime syndicate of a low-life racketeer.

POTUS Trump made the comment a few days after the missile strike.

The TBI's were announced days after.

If you're going to bash someone at least get your timelines right. If I wanted rhetoric, I'll go hang out on Twitter.

So he made a comment when he didn’t know the facts and after the facts came out he hasn’t addressed it... even though he “tweets” hundreds of times a day.

He has had plenty of time to bring up Greta and the democrats though...

To not have killed a general in the army of Iran in order to score points and to incite conflict. How the hell did you interpret anything I said into my advocating for a war? How absolutely backwards.

I vehemently disagree but aside from that, where did I advocate for a war?

Why do you think Trump is soft pedaling these US injuries in the aftermath of Iran's missile barrage?

As far as I am concerned he does not want to admit responsibility, cause that's just the kinda guy he is.

    Yes we do

He made a big deal of the point that no one was injured and we know from “sharpiegate” that he will NEVER admit he was wrong

I asked a question because I am curious as to why you accused me of advocating for a war with Iran. Did you mistake my post for someone else's?

Even the narrative you get from the Pentagon isn't reliable and has shown itself to be unreliable. If the US media had any real interest in finding out the truth, instead of merely relying on the Pentagon (which will have to 'massage' each fact and revelation in a way that wouldn't rise the ire of Trump), they would do their own independent investigation regarding those injured and track down the issue for themselves. Otherwise, the fact that Trump (and the Pentagon) lied immediately after Iran's attack is indisputable. The casualty and injury issue aside, both had tried to convey a picture of Iran's missiles causing virtually no damage to the US base, while closing off the base for journalists and others to visit on their own for quite a while.

Anyway, here are some facts, based on not conjecture or reports from outside of the US, but what has been reported in the US itself:

1- The Pentagon sealed off the Al Asad base and didn't allow any journalist or even Iraqi officials, to look at the place, for more than a week. This when the initial line from the Trump and the Pentagon was that the Iranian attacks had not only failed to cause any casualties, but had done "minor damage" to some helicopter.

2- Satellite imagery, and videos taken from inside the base by soldiers use their phones, already showed that wouldn't be a tenable position to maintain. The Pentagon finally allowed journalists to check the Al Asad air base. While the official military spokesmen were emphasizing to them how, despite the damage, no one had been hurt, there were already accounts from US soldiers and officers of dozens of US soldiers having been evacuated and receiving treatment.

3- In response to the obvious, the Pentagon began with a vague statement about 11 US servicemen having sustained "concussion related injuries" and had been transferred to Kuwait and Germany for treatment. No specifics were given, but general comments were made to imply the injuries weren't serious.

4- Since then, the numbers of cases has been climbing from 11 to 34 to 50 to now 64. Is this because these servicemen exhibited symptoms (and received treatment) only after each round of disclosures by the Pentagon? No. Already, the minute journalists were allowed to check the base for themselves, they had been told by US soldiers of "dozens" of US soldiers who had suffered injuries.

In the meantime, as I have mentioned elsewhere, there are various suspicious reports about US servicemen dying for unexplained reasons in Germany and reports from Kuwait which had already questioned the Pentagon's first admission of injuries in the initial narrative of 11 injured, saying that 16 US soldiers had been taken to Kuwait and treated for burns and shrapnel injury, some of them being kept in ICU. I have no clue if these reports are accurate or true, but any journalist worth his or her salt would go to the medical facilities (in Kuwait, Germany, US) where these soldiers had been transferred to (as well as the US military run hospital in Baghdad) and try to find out the facts independently.

I have to add this too: While Pentagon estimates on the number of servicemen injured from Iran's attacks haven't shown the acceleration of any sports car, the acceleration (while at turtle's pace) has been steady and impressive-) From 0 to 11 to 34 to 50 to now 64! In 3 weeks.

There’s a lesson for Trump in what you just stated. It’s also what good leaders typically do!
