budgets can't become law until the president signs. He owns it once signed. Cutting taxes slashed our revenue intake, which coupled with increased spending (something republicans ALWAYS do) got us back to trillion dollar deficits in a supposed "booming" economy. It's total fiscal incompetence and republicans do it every ****ing time they are in power.

I enter my financial information into an online tax form (I'm not telling you which online tax company I use to file my taxes) and it automatically applies a Federal earned income credit and that means, because my income is less than the total tax credit, I don't pay any income tax. As a self-employed individual, however, I DO pay the Social Security tax in full. I don't have an employer who would pay their half of the tax so I pay double what a salaried employee would pay.

As far as the New York State earned income tax credit goes, I actually make a profit. (Not enough to cover my costs for filing self-employment taxes though.)

Yes, I know how taxes work.
Why do you make so little that you pay no tax?

What rejection? Donald caused the biggest part of the massive deficit with his economic plans in just 3 years! He said his plan would pay for itself. His predictions are dead wrong. It's NOT repaying for anything. Donald must explain his failures first.

Nope these are his economic plans. Donald claimed the cut on taxes would pay for itself in more returns. Donald failed. It's not paying for itself.

I have a job for minimum wage ($12/hour). And, I work very little, in fact, I wouldn't call it work at all. Just a "job." I say that because "work" would imply that I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, competitively. That's not me. Work is very hard for me.

But, also, it's a family business, so what can I do? At least I get room and board for free.

I also have mad technology skills, but I don't want to join a hiring firm and get sent somewhere else across the country for a job. I'm looking for something local that isn't very hard. I don't want to leave home.

I found out that Trump and the Congress are negotiating a budget now for when it goes into effect in October. Now is the time to work out funding deals. Hopefully, it won't result in another government shutdown.

There never would be shutdown if Donalds plan paid for itself. Donalds plan is failing.

Taxes cut, revenue went up. Congress spent it all and then some.

Obama added 9.3 trillion to the debt over 8 years and 5.8 was in his first term.

The day trump took office debt was at 19.95 trillion. Debt is currently at 23.27 trillion. So in comparison trump is adding less debt than obama.

So please tell me again how Obama's lowest deficit is equivalent to trumps highest. The comparison is apples to oranges. And obama supported the 1.4 trillion he "inherited."

So you barely work, but you want others to pay much higher rates than you, so you can get all the perks of society off the skin of their bscks?

So raise your tax rate to the highest you'd have any other pay, and do your part to lower the deficit

Do you feel there is something special about yourself that others should be forced to subsidize you?

Well, I'm not special, per say, but I can't support myself. I also have mental health problems.

False. If you do not qualify under the guideline you do not have access to the program.

So you have no ambition other than to complain about income inequality even though the answer to that perceived problem is staring you in the face?

I do not disagree, they set up an artificial ,baseless, unconstitutional qualifications to block access to public option.
