Bloomberg could have declared earlier, and have gotten onto the polls. But Bloomberg is limiting himself to targeting big blocks. Prior to Super Tuesday, there are only two caucuses and two primaries. These four states combine for just 155 delegates. But on Super Tuesday there are 1345 delegates available. This represents nearly a third of the total delegates available. If Bloomberg does not have a huge showing on that date, he will probably drop out.
It's hard to tell how Bloomberg will do on Super Tuesday without looking at each state one at a time. But even with Bloomberg skipping the early primaries, he has risen nationally from basically zero to 15%. That places Bloomberg in third place nationally, 7 behind Sanders, 2 behind Biden. A couple of super Tuesday states, California Bloomberg currently in 2nd behind Sanders, he has moved up to 3rd in Massachusetts, only 4 behind Warren and 3 behind Sanders. Bloomberg is also 3rd in North Carolina, 3 behind the leaders Biden and Sanders, Bloomberg is currently 2nd in Texas 2 behind Sanders. The rest of Super Tuesday states, all the polls are too old to be of use.
He won Dixville Notch and got 4,777 votes all up, beating Bennet and Patrick. Where the hell did you get zero from?

There is no reason for Bloomberg to get into the pig pile that is in the current democrat clown car. Hell, he owns the whole bus. Let them slowly commit suicide by mouth while he buys batches of voters like moms demand action and the like.
Bloomberg is very weak “ retail” politician and skipped the states where dealing with voters face to face is emphasized. As a politician he’s a good philanthropist. Ego is likely and unfortunately driving the former so he should stick to the latter. He appears to be a pre-Reagan Republican to me and should have tried to take on Trump and unfortunately the Republican Party this cycle.
