I really don't give a sh*t to be honest...why are you commenting to me for, I made a little joke, but never said what he calls himself. However if he actually introduced himself as "Gay Pete" I would laugh my head off. He is open about being a homosexual, but of course he doesn't walk around saying, "I'm gay Pete, and I am running for President..."
As an aside, Bernie offers great alliterative potential for headlines. Like for example, Bernie Battles Billionaires - Bashes Bewidered Bloomberg for Betraying Base.
The face Pete made after Bloomberg told him, for all intents and purposes to shut up it's my turn to talk, should be made into one of those meme things. I'd post it if I knew how to do all of that stuff. Hell even the moderators were like seriously guy shut up we've told you this about 10 times tonight.
Just tax the 1% more. That solves literally every single problem somehow regardless of scale....somehow.
You entered this issue at Post # 381. You have made further posts on the issue. That's why I am 'commenting to' you. I am open about being straight. No-one calls me Straight Bush Lawyer.
I posted a GIF that was a joke, I never voiced an opinion on him being gay...because I don't care...where did I say he calls himself "Gay Pete?" I didn't, okay Straight Bush Lawyer?
I saw it because I was sitting there in anticipation of Bloomberg doing better. I don't exactly like Bloomberg but I seriously am waiting for somebody to just KO punch Bernie Sanders by hitting him on with basic questions about his policies that nobody seems to do. Well they try to do but let him off when he doesn't answer. Bloomberg I figured was locked and loaded and ready to go, which he did sort of. As the debate went on I sat in my recliner grinning ear to ear keenly tuned in to every word waiting for the Bloomberg strike. Then Mikey accidentally tells on himself like a fool on national TV which you KNOW is about to be a sound bite in the Bernie campaign lol....
Just quote what it is you're talking about... A GIF that's a light joke doesn't count as weighing in on the issues... I have discussed Buttigieg as a debater and candidate.
I'm sure the Trump team saw that too and may use it. Bernie team may as well. Not sure if the media will cover it at all. In reality that's a pretty huge deal and could be pretty damaging to him since he's already pretty easily painted as someone who is trying to buy the election with his massive wealth. The media is torn because pointing that out will hurt Bloomberg and help Bernie and they hate Bernie so I would assume they won't mention it too extensively. Trump wants to face Bernie so his camp may grab that and run with it.
He sure isn't going to say that in South Carolina. Interesting fact-if Bootygig is elected, his husband will be referred to as the First Gentleman of the United States, or FGOTUS for short.
I watched it all. I guess it is understandable that I did no hear Bloomberg 'almost accidentally say he bought Nancy Pelosi's seat,' because he did not say it. He did say he supported some Dem House candidates to the tune of 100M and that as a consequence, Pelosi was able to take the leadership position she has in the House.
Yeah because for some reason none of these people hold him accountable for his non answers. I keep sitting here watching every single one of these debates and Bernie interviews wondering when the hell anybody is going to ask this man how he's going to pay for all of this free stuff he keeps promising. They ask him and he gives the same beat around the bush answers and they let it go. Just ask him flat out, your proposals cannot be funded in total by even taxing the 1% for 100% of their wealth. How are you going to pay for this? No other questions will be asked until you answer this question and if you don't answer this question directly this interview is over. No more of this "Denmark does it and every other 1st world nation and experts say it'll save us money blah blah blah". It's a direct question, answer it directly or stop talking. Period. Or during a debate, answer that question directly or you are prohibited from speaking again during this debate. It's really that simple. They tried a little bit tonight but they still failed to get to the root point.
I'm not the most tech savvy person so I don't know how to snip clips from the TV and post them on here but I watched the debate in it's entirety as well and I'm 90% sure he said something like "I donated millions and I bou....I helped Democrats and Nancy Pelosi gain their seats". I could very well be mistaken but I'm not the only person even in this thread who heard him say something to that effect...
