I call people what they want to be called. It helps me get through life without any trouble. If a big guy at work wants to be a she, he can be a she. I respect the right of people to be called what they feel like and identify as personally.
Morals have changed constantly throughout history, for various reasons including social pressures. Your normalisation of the immorality is nothing more than this. All these claims that it's a delusion or mental illness, it's all about what they believe and there is no evidence to support their belief that they are a different gender. Well we make far more allowances with respect to religion and those exact same arguments can be made about religion.
Your opinion on what is immoral or insulting is noted and your right both to it and to express it is acknowledged and protected. Just don't expect us to not call you out on it with our own opinions on such. If you feel the need to try to impose those morals on us, expect us to try to impose ours on you. As I said, do into others... Personally I let people do as they wish until they start imposing on me. Then I impose on them.
Morals don't change, people accept bad behaviors. Morality is defined by a constant standard and has nothing to do with the will of amy people.
Morals have changed...for example, slavery is now considered abhorrent, but historically it was thought of by most people as morally acceptable. Forced sex within marriage was once thought of as enforcing the entirely valid rights of a husband on his wife, but now in most western societies it is classed as rape.
Christians in our nation considered SLAVERY to be MORAL until the Will of the People made it LEGALLY unconstitutional! Christians in our nation considered interracial marriage to be immoral until the Will of the People made it Constitutional! Christians considered drinking alcohol to be IMMORAL and passed the Prohibition Amendment which was REPEALED by the Will of the People. Many Christians TODAY consider same sex marriage to be immoral but a MAJORITY of the nation agree that it is CONSTITUTIONAL, including many who are Christians.
What people think has no bearing on morality. Only what a society finds acceptable. Those are two different things.
As much as I hate to say it, this is not really a counter argument to his point. Being legal doesn't make something moral, or illegal make something immoral. The two can overlap, but are not dependant upon each other. There are indeed Christians who hold to morals different than other Christians, as there are Christians who hold something to be immoral, but recognize the inherent right for someone to act immoral of their own choice.
By this standard, what you think is morality has no bearing on what it actually is. Exactly how do we resolve whose morality is right or wrong. I find it immoral to deny that people are not the gender they claim. You, sir, are an immoral man then. Your morality says the opposite. Can you prove one over the other right?
So where does this constant standard of morality come from? Who first defined what was moral and what was immoral? Why is their morality right and everyone else’s wrong
And since everything is according to gods plan apparently god was ok with slavery, the holocaust, priests raping young boys, etc? Interesting
Ok, bring on the slaves and let the beatings being. Not sure I want to start eating my own children but hey it would be immoral not too.
Right, because in person you could tell what their gender is by seeing them. The only thing you've proven so far is how stupid the left's push is to try and force people to participate in their mental fantasies.
No one can force you to participate in their mental fantasy. Not sure why you're struggling with that.
We aren't the one's making the mistake. If you have a penis and have xy chromosomes, you are a man. The problem is in YOUR head, not mine (generically speaking, of course). Why should anyone else be forced to go along with that person's aversion to reality? If someone thought they were Emperor of the West, would you participate in their fantasy?
Of course they can. They can write laws that punish those who disagree with the mentally ill. Of course, you know they're doing that, or trying to do that, in multiple countries around the world. You'll continue presenting your argument as if you don't know that though, asking me to engage in another mental construct that ignores reality. No thanks.
Oh look. An ad hom on top of your strawman because you just can't hang. Have you always been this bad at debating or is this new? I'm guessing it's a life long commitment. Go ahead and try the insult route. I'll have you crying inside of 5 minutes.
