It’s not all that bad except for the hysteria. There have been 48 American fatalities from Coronavirus in 6 weeks compared to 276,164 deaths from other than Coronavirus in that same 6 week time frame. Also in that same 6 weeks time frame more Americans have been murdered on the city streets of Chicago alone than have died from the Coronavirus.

You ALREADY said that 1/2 Hour previously in Post #185:

"He handled it like a Boss and made Obama and Joe Biden look even more inept"

    http://politicalforum.com/index.php...and-regulations.569460/page-8#post-1071509190.

Is there an ECHO in here?

That "Boss"/ "Obama/Biden" Thing is starting to sound rather REPETITIVE.

You may want to consider a new shtick.

I am starting to feel like Chris Christie in a Debate with Marco Rubio.

    "There it is again".:roflol: :bored:

Nothing personal, just a friendly suggestion. :salute:

    Anyway, as to the topic:

There is Universal Recognition (with the exception of a few "defend trump at all costs" Partisans) that Trump has done a HORRIBLE Job in his handling of the crisis.

The left called out the correct severity of that virus.
The GOP downplayed it and calling it hysteria from the left.
And now you GOP flip flopped this into still calling it hysteria from the left,
while also declaring it a state of emergency.

You can't have both, mate. lol
    That's just being very dishonest.

Half the deaths were in one nursing home. Like the meme on facebook earlier, Dahmer ate more people

The left tried to politicize this from the start and has failed in spectacular fashion once again.

Yeah. It started small in Italy as well.
And now the hospitals are too full, and not all getting the care they need... so some are just left to die.

    I wouldn't know.

I am not familiar with any of those types that you describe.

I am talking about the opinions of Hard-Working, God-Fearing Americans (who voted Trump in '16, but are switching to Biden in '20).

    The UNIVERSAL Opinion of Hard-Working God-Fearing Americans.:flagus:

Donald downplayed this from the start.
Donald has been proven by himself that he was dead wrong, with his state of emergency.
Total failure from the politician in charge.
    It is what it is.

Doctors downplayed this from the start too, and if you actually talk to any (like I routinely do), they think the panic and hysteria over this is insane

Sure. That explains the flip flop from it's just like a flu to a state of national emergency.

The World health organisation said what it was...
and Donald replied that he had this hunch that it wasn't like that.

Donald is at the helm. He proved to be incompetent.
Made a terrible bad call. And now because of him, the stock market crashed,
and we're in a state of emergency.

And all you can do... it's but some people claim the earth is flat.
    who cares.

lol. That's the talking point huh? Hope it can carry through to the election. Good luck. Outside of the communes and liberal message boards, most Americans know what's going on and are more than happy with the way Trump is handling this.

Well, Italy must be the new epicenter now because CDC and WHO statistics are much different.
    GLOBAL CASES
Updated March 13, 10:15 PM EDT
    Confirmed
    145,496
    Fatal
    5,417
    Recovered
    83,673

Lets keep that hysteria going. You guys are pathetic. Why don’t we get AOC and Rashida Tlaib to be the US spokespersons for the Coronavirus. I’m sure that they can stir up a national riot based on the Coronavirus being an issue of racism. Or better yet we can dig some mass trenches and have other countries take satellite pictures to spread a rumor that America needs mass graves for their deceased.

Trump's initial response to the coronavirus was truly pathetic. To be fair, he wasn't the only world leader or politician who showed himself more concerned about political and economic issues than the health consequences of his actions. In most countries, before the epidemic began to grow enough to show its potential to cause great social, economic, political costs and human lives, including in Iran, most leaders were focused on 'calming' public worries and doing more to hurt than help the impending crisis from this epidemic.

But two statements from Trump truly stood out and distinguish him as a first rate idiot. First, his initial statement suggesting that there would be no more cases of the coronavirus in the US shortly when the numbers were still very low. That was idiotic simply because it was easily predictable that it would be proven wrong shortly. It made me even suspect that the virus might indeed be a biological weapon against China and Iran by the US for which the US already had some form of a vaccine to protect its own citizens; otherwise, how could Trump make such an idiotic (and soon to be proven wrong) prediction and comment? The second statement was about everyone being able to get tested. For a country that at that point didn't have but a handful of testing kits ready yet, that was ridiculous and something that again made no sense. To make an outrageous statement or lie about something that can't be so easily dis-proven and which, even if disproven, wouldn't cause much heartfelt anger among most people is one thing. But to lie about something that will be immediately proven to be false about an issue which thousands of people worried about their health would find out to have been a lie is another. It was just stupid.

Anyway, the pro Trump crowd is who and what they are. What they lack in substance and depth, they might make up in numbers. They are the majority in a slew of states which together give Trump a comfortable base for the electoral college, needing good economic numbers (which has had during his term) to win over enough in some of the other states to find himself re-elected despite being a buffoon. And that is ultimately what worries the Trump crowd: not the health consequences of this virus, or how many people it might kill or leave sick, but its effects on the economy and Trump's reelection chances as a result.

He called it a public health emergency on January 31st and mobilized our teams and started fast tracking a vaccine. Had he somehow been psychic and had a vaccine made before the first case ever came down the left would still call it "pathetic". He was panned as xenophobic for putting on the China flight restrictions.

I don't know how you can have such a blantantly select memory.

Did Trump say, "We are currently at 12 cases and very soon going to be going down to zero?"

I do not believe the doctors you talk to should be guideposts for how to react on this virus.

6 weeks? The first death was two weeks ago.

And in that same time frame, the rate of infected individuals is growing faster than Italy.

Within hours of Trump declaring it a national emergency, you want to argue that this virus is being overhyped?

****, I hate the impact Trump has had on his followers.

Yes we were doing a good job and he called it a public health emergency on January 31, it wasn't even declared a new virus until January 7th and of course the information coming from China was little and suspect and he began taking measures including limiting travel.
