I can't believe that this President agreed to that massive raid on the treasury in the name of an emergency. I think it funds every disputed action Democrats wanted.

Your harping about Democrats on this issue to me is a waste of bandwidth.

That is merely your opinion, and it has no bearing on this discussion, RodB.

Actually it's more then an opinion...it's fact....Art 3 outlines what the Judicial branch does...and nowhere does it say anything about giving them the power to set policy

That's exactly what this judge did. The Obama administration by EXECUTIVE ORDER changed the policy by lowering the work rule requirements of the law. The Trump administration said they would role back that policy to the original intent of the law. That is a POLICY matter not a judicial matter. The judge's basic reasoning as explained in the opening of her ruling is that she doesn't like what she thinks this change might do some people. That is not the basis for a judge to interfere with the Executive branch.

The OP FACTS were substantiated when THIS was included in the post...

Did you miss that part where the butt-ugly judge said that or are you just being disingenuous?

Beryl Howell should be impeached for her clear abuse of power. This is the sort of ruling that we have grown to expect from Obama appointing lobbyist to the Court.

Why do you think it's mean to ask people to work for their food?

You thinkbelieve that this (or any) judge should make a ruling that is not based in law?

Why do you hate America and its Constitution?

No they should make rulings based on the law, not emotion, like this Court did, and why she should be impeached

She's part of the anti Trump establishment and their tactic is delay, delay, delay.

Since RodB is no expert and not based on fact when it comes to Article III and neither are you, struth, we can leave this aside as not fruitful for discussion.

The judge made a good ruling based on law and fact, and that the Trump supporters are yelling, we know it was a good ruling.

I am actually an expert. What did I say that was incorrect?

Have you actually read this opinion? I have. It's not based on the law at all...purely emotion.

No, you are no expert. It is not shown in your writings, and we have not seen your credentials.

Stop being emotional, and start acting on facts.

Say what? I am acting on facts Art III does not give the Courts the power to set policies. Read the opinion, it's entirely based on emotion and not the law. In fact, the Judge goes so far as to say that the many of the plantiffs will not be successful.....but still grants the nation wide block

Yeah, as a single tear rolls down my cheek for Trump supporters, this thread is indicative of their persona, complaining about people in need getting food during a pandemic

The change was about able bodied people not in need. If they are in need as law passed by Congress dictates they will receive the assistance. And Congress is passing special assistance bills as we type.
