This draft will be interesting. The Fins tried to schedule a meeting with Tua to see how his recovery was going. He had a very serious procedure done. Will teams invest on players like Tua in the first round if they can't have their team doctors check them out? Hell, they aren't even allowed to do workouts. This should be an interesting draft for sureeeee
Gronk to Tampa Bay - Reunited with Tom Brady.... https://bleacherreport.com/articles...iots-he-wants-trade-to-bucs-tom-brady-reunion
Should be a hard offense to stop. Two of the fastest receivers with great hands plus a tight end they can't double cover (or else leave a receiver one on one)... However, Tampa's defense will need to work with this system. Interesting times
It would be a bummer if the NFL cancelled out. Imagine the Cinderella Story if TB reached the Super Bowl with the game in Tampa...
Yea that would suck if it got cancelled. I am a Patriots supporter above all teams. I love touchdown Tommy but my Pats come first. I want to see what Bill has in store for the new season.
Lot of talk about Andy Dalton to Pats. https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/pa...among-teams-interested-signing-qb-andy-dalton
Read back in the thread. I predicted that months ago. I think its a good move at least for now. He fits the system
Well looks like I may have been wrong about having fans in the stands. Was just listening to a podcast with an NFL insider that said it may be a year without fans. This will be weird if that happens.
The Patriots sign Cam- my reaction: AWESOME! I love that we signed him, especially if he gets to be 100% healthy. What I love more? His contract is almost ALL INCENTIVES. That means, he needs to do his best, give it his all, or he gets paid the league low 1 mil. He can earn up to 7.5. Cam has had a HUGE problem with motivation and letting his team mates down (we all know what plays I'm talking about). He's admitted he could have tried harder. Let's see it Cam. Show us you can do it. I'm rooting for you bro. You have amazing talent. EARN that big pay day for next year!
In the Other Thread: http://politicalforum.com/index.php...e-will-leave-the-new-england-patriots.569645/ MY Post from March 24th: Your post from March 26th: NOW June 29th: Glad to see you come around to Team Cam. I agree that it is a GREAT Move. Once again, we see eye-to-eye.
He has an incentive contract. So he needs to play well. I am rooting for him. My guess is he gets cut. But i hope he does well and becomes a franchise QB. It's up to him!
UPDATE: Cam is showing to be EXTREMELY motivated. He's worked out with several Pats players and appeared on OBJ's podcast. Cam wants to win. I'll be the first to admit I was worried about his attitude but he is showing that he's ready to exceed expectations. CAM1 here we gooooo! LETS GO PATS
I'm a Carolina Panthers fan and I've always liked Cam Newton very much, obviously, although I was frustrated with some shortcomings (and yes, we all know what plays you are talking about). I also felt that he was imprudent in the way he managed his body, exposing himself to too many injuries (and I blame Ron Rivera for not providing enough guidance; I'm thankful that Ron is finally gone from the Panthers; some might call me ungrateful because Ron did have his share of success but overall my evaluation of him is on the negative side). Now I am ambivalent with this new situation of Cam having signed with the Pats, because I want Cam to succeed but I don't necessarily want the Patriots to do well... Anyway, I'm new here; should we create another NFL thread for the upcoming season (which I hope will happen)?
It's funny to watch a game with nobody in the stands, but with manufactured crowd noise piped into the audio feed for the TV network. The audience hears the manufactured cheering and reacts appropriately.
It's hilarious. Did you notice the noise from the chiefs/raiders game? The "crowd" accidentally cheered against the chiefs when they meant to cheer for them lol. Somebody probably got fired after that one lol
This weekend was interesting. The chiefs got super lucky with Allen's turnovers. Once again exposing their poor secondary play (they have talent, but it looks bad). The Bills looked poor. The packers got SMACKED by Father Time...Patriots got smacked by Denver (after not practicing for two weeks so I'm not too pissed about that loss). Anyone else notice Christian Kirk's amazing route running? May want to consider grabbing him on waivers if he's not already on a fantasy team in your league.
^Good stuff, my friend. How about this one: The Cowboys got totally slammed on MNF, and losing Dak is a killer. But, even with the loss, they still enjoy a 1 1/2 Game lead in the NFC Least.
I don't know, Kirk did very poorly in the first three games. He did well in the last two but that can be a match-up issue. He is projected to score just 8.5 fantasy points on Week 6. His average is 9.8. All my WRs have averages much higher than that.
