Sure, UV light has a lot of valid uses, some of which may even pan out for Covid. And the "disinfectant"? Yeah probably not a good idea to inject into oneself, but I can probably surmise that he was, in a round about moron drive kinda way, promoting some sort of vaccination to remove the infection.

But in the end, no matter his intentions, he sounded like they found a random 70 year old senior citizen on the street, gave him a piece of paper and told him to give a speech and answer questions based on the words on that paper without any knowledge or understanding of what he is talking about.

It would be hilarious if this was Jackass, but when it's the POTUS, it's both sad and horrifying.

 

All viruses break down under UV light. It is rather well known. The chemical bonds that hold the virus together are rather weak. UV light adds just enough energy to cause those bonds to break. It also causes the DNA in bacteria and in our skin to breakdown.
