You're correct that he never directed or told anyone to inject anything, but there are many people who heard a suggestion that would be harmful if followed. And before you say "it was only 100 people reported" I'll point out that if there were 100 in Maryland, there were plenty more elsewhere unless you think the people of Maryland are very different from others. I'll also point out that right after Mr. Dope's words were aired, the makers of Lysol disinfectant and others put out a warning against ingestion or injection of their products. So those manufacturers also considered what meaning people would take from the words of our sociopath. Yet here you sit, insisting that only the precise, parsed words matter.

Canada has been using UV robots for generalized sterilization. The US has been using UV sterilization for decades, especially in orthopedic OR settings.
