Every country will have to move to the Swedish model. Some never have used anything but the Swedish model. Both lockdown and Swedish aim to flatten the curve but those countries who started Swedish are way ahead in the goal of achieving herd immunity.

But you know how it goes, ********s all over this country say that they have been harmed, and that they must find someone with deep pockets who has to pay them money -- somebody got to pay even if a damn mosquito sucked their blood and gave them West Nile. It's always somebody else's fault no matter what.

That's what we were told. We enacted these lockdowns to mitigate infection so the hospitals will be able to prepare and they will not be overwhelmed.

Now that we have completed that, it's like we're stuck in February. These governors and their "experts" have not come up with any better ideas than lock yourselves in your homes and don't come out.

If we leave it up to these unimaginative governors, things would continue as if we were in Groundhog Day living perpetually in February, and they'll have no better ideas on how to mitigate this disease while also not destroying our economy

I can't recall any other pandemic or epidemic where healthy, law-abiding people were put under house arrest and sociopaths were let out of prison.

What could go wrong right? I mean releasing criminals from prison into a population where we just had our economy take a nosedive, and there are no jobs for them since 30 million people are out of work.

Maybe it's just the good person maybe in me, but I think the vast majority of those prisoners released from from their jails will probably behave themselves. But this is not the best of times for them to enjoy their freedom, when our economy is in the tank, no jobs, and there's really nothing for them to do to support themselves, except to rely on the good graces of other people's charity

Yes. IMO due to the cover up by the Chinese US medical experts did not realize how contagious the virus was, how deadly the virus was to the elderly & those with serious preconditions, and that most infected people showed no or very mild symptoms. Those factors I think favored the Swedish model rather than a complete lockdown with consequent economic (and human) damage.

I saw a short piece last night on TV news interviewing a young woman wearing a mask, with gorgeous eyes, who owns a hair salon somewhere, did not catch the location. She gave a very good presentation stating she was opening her place of business no matter what.

Civil disobedience, and I commend her.

From what I have learned is, if the mask doesn't have an exhaust they will quickly become damp from breathing and makes the perfect breeding ground for transmission from outside the mask to the inside.. As for a bandana, just cover your head or hold up a 7/11 that all they're good for ;)

Well we know that these cases will go up again because there's no cure. The disease is out there people are going to catch it, and the most vulnerable among us will die.

This is going to keep going on until everybody receives a working vaccine which could be a year from now. if we were to assume a million people inoculated with the vaccine every single day 330 million people yeah it could take a year

The thing is, we don't even know if antibodies for this virus will ensure we do not get re-infected. It's freaking May and we still don't know a lot about this virus.

How exactly does it transmit, how do we get infected?

What's the mortality rate for those who are infected?

Can the virus travel through ventilation in our office buildings?

Can we create an actual working vaccine?

Will it only be a partially working vaccine like the seasonal flu?

Will 90000 people a year die from this flu and the seasonal flu every year?

Wifey is on the brink.. in fact she did a full pedocare and hair on a special client. Her client almost never leaves her pretty house and yard anyway.. her son snuck her in,, dropped her off, she was kinda excited by the intrigue!

Correct. This is a test to see just how far they can push the general public. They are doing it by spreading fear on every media outlet available. I believe they are playing with fire and unless they stop the tyranny things are going to get ugly very quickly.

You forgot to add some asshat Governors tried to lockdown gun stores. Thank you second amendment foundation for your successful lawsuits and getting most of those overturned.
