There's nothing irrational about worrying about something that has killed 75,000 in two months and is currently killing 2,000 a day No I'm pointing out that people like you...would confine people over 50 and anyone with any medical condition to being locked away pretty much forever because you can't wait the few weeks it would take for this thing to subside

It's far from irrational to those 14 people. Or their families or their friends And of course those numbers are skewed by the fact that though people under 50 can get VERY sick (some with lifelong issues) they don't usually die... And then there's the financial COST of fighting this thing. What does 30-50 days in the hospital cost again? I know my insurance wouldn't cover all of that
Of note...a Broadway actor ( i forget his name) had a leg amputated because of blot clots from this thing and has damaged lungs
