No one was detained, why are you so stubborn to not realize that, Arbery was never detained, he put himself into what eventually got him killed, he had the option to keep on walking and wait for the police to show up, the person in the bed of the truck was on the line with 911, but no Arbery went for his version of street justice, lost the battle and assumed room temperature because of it.

And in this video he can clearly be seen he runs toward the truck gos around the right side of the truck and then cross's in front of it to begin a fight with a person armed with a shotgun, while the person in the bed of the truck is on the phone with 911.
