not according to the video, or to the shooter himself. right. he was attempting to take a shotgun that was being used against him in an illegal detention, as was his right. at least you stopped hiding your bigotry and racism. that is refreshing at least.
Then you are ignoring what is shown in the video. No one who has half a brain stops and tries to disarm a person with a shotgun unless they are armed as well, this idiot thought he could and paid the price for being an idiot. Nothing bigoted about it, unlike many who cannot understand street reality, I have a clue as to how things on the street work.
the video shows McMichaels blocking Arbery's path with a truck, and another man blocking his escape standing in the road. If your choices are fight or die (his perception, which is reasonable as 2 armed men are attempting to kidnap him) then he's not an idiot. so now you're back to trying to hide your bigotry and racism.
Totally false, you have either not watched the video of have watched it and are ignoring the facts it presents. Total fallacy, no one with any sense at all doesn't try to disarm a armed person unless they are armed, anything other is that is stuck on stupid. Not at all, I have no bigotry or racism in my attitude, but I can see many in this thread who are definitely anti-white bigots.
it's a matter of objective fact. The video clearly shows they were blocking his path with a truck, and a man in the street. McMichaels confirms this in his statement to police. That is in no way debatable. You've clearly never been in a life or death situation, facing armed assailants. of course you do, and admitted as much 2 posts previously. I do not dispute there is definitely anti white sentiments surrounding this incident. But it's irrelevant to the facts of this case. The facts are indisputable. McMichaels had zero authority to try and detain Arbery. the video clearly shows them chasing him down and blocking his path with a vehicle, and an armed man in the street. McMichaels admits this to police, confirming what is seen in the video.
Totally false. Again totally false. No one was detained, why are you so stubborn to not realize that, Arbery was never detained, he put himself into what eventually got him killed, he had the option to keep on walking and wait for the police to show up, the person in the bed of the truck was on the line with 911, but no Arbery went for his version of street justice, lost the battle and assumed room temperature because of it. No loss there, it was self inflected. .
it's objective fact, per the video and their own statements to the police. It's not debatable. your comments show otherwise. again, we have the video and the statements of McMichaels which clearly show otherwise. It's objective fact. he did not choose to be pursued by 2 armed attackers, attempting to kidnap him.
So you are claiming the video was staged and mcmichaels lied to the police about his actions? Why? I literally have objective reality on my side.
No I'm stating you either didn't watch the video or fail to understand it. Nope an alternate reality is not am objective reality, you failed to see what happened in the video and totally fail to understand the concept of a justified shooting. Your mind is made up and no amount of reality will change it, the only way you can see it is black guy good, white guy bad.
the video is crystal clear. It shows them blocking Arbery's path with a truck, and an armed man in the street. McMichaels confirmed this in his statement to police. the video refutes your position, as well as the statements for McMichaels. It's why they are in jail and charged with murder and aggravated assault. Sorry. race is irrelevant to the facts of this case. The facts remain, McMichaels had zero legal authority to attempt to detain arbery. The video shows the attempted detention, while brandishing firearms and subsequent murder of Arbery.
A truck he ran 100 yards to get to. Only if you selectively watch it. They didn't detain him he approached them, and then became aggressive.
no, a truck that had been chasing him and had him cornered once already, and he escaped, then they ran him down again. no, if you have 2 eyes in your head and 3 brain cells. All of which is confirmed by the statements from the shooter himself. again, THEY ADMITTED THEY TRIED AND FAILED TO DETAIN HIM SEVERAL TIMES.
What does the police report say? https://www.thecut.com/2020/05/ahmaud-arbery-shooting-georgia-explainer.html The actual police report.................. https://int.nyt.com/data/documenthelper/6915-arbery-shooting/b52fa09cdc974b970b79/optimized/full.pdf
And in this video he can clearly be seen he runs toward the truck gos around the right side of the truck and then cross's in front of it to begin a fight with a person armed with a shotgun, while the person in the bed of the truck is on the phone with 911. .
Your selective confirmation bias watching only condemns your narrative to the waste basket. The McMichaels attempted an unlawful arrest, an unlawful interference, and an unlawful brandishing of a fire arm, and then an unlawful killing. The second the McMichaels told him to stop, the guilt was all theirs.
You never crossed in front of a vehicle without getting run over? Interesting. I see it done on almost a daily basis.
