Rassmussen samples landlines, and those who do not have land lines must go online to cast their vote. Online polls are the opinion of only a demographic that goes online ( Rassmussen online volunteered voters are a more politically active group than would have been presented by a random call to a person's home, as the online voters are a demographic that favors republicans, but it's not an accurate representation of the nation ). That will get a result more favorable to the right, as elders are the ones who have far more landlines than the rest of the population.

In other words, Rassmussen is an outlier, and, in my view, they shouldn't even be factored in RCP averages. If you take the RCP averages, and factor out Rassumussen, the results favor the president less, and that result would be more accurate than factoring them in, as RCP does.

Our economy isn't just what is going on in the US, hundreds of billions of dollars of our economy is generated through foreign trade and tourism. Lots of the tourism jobs aren't coming back anytime soon. That doesn't just hit blue states.
