Some excerpts from Bolton's book: In the Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir - I am hard-pressed to identify any significant Trump decision during my tenure that wasn’t driven by re-election calculations. - Getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation. - Chaos in the White House - The House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry was too narrow and should have focused on more than Trump’s efforts to pressure Ukraine for dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden. - Trump's inconsistent, scattershot decision-making process. And it goes on and on..... Are there people surprised? https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...election-drove-trump-s-foreign-policy-in-book ___________________________________ John Bolton's name must be added to the endless list of people hired by Trump, whom he bragged about unreservedly and who today portray him as a dangerous incompetent. Thankfully, November is not that far off.
… From the publisher: “What Bolton saw astonished him: a President for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation. ‘I am hard-pressed to identify any significant Trump decision during my tenure that wasn’t driven by reelection calculations.’” Bolton “shows a President addicted to chaos, who embraced our enemies and spurned our friends, and was deeply suspicious of his own government ... who thought foreign policy is like closing a real estate deal — about personal relationships, made-for-TV showmanship, and advancing his own interests.” ... https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/12/joh...eachment-focused-too-narrowly-on-ukraine.html jesus christ, this dangerous republican egomaniac needs to go down HARD in Nov... JOE 2020 By the way, fine siggy by Mr. Stern there, Ark
He obviously knows how to use the demand for nothing burgers for his own personal gain. My book, "Trump Is Ba'a'a'd, M'kay? comes out in July. Reserve your copy today!
Wow, a President was concerned with re-election.....not me over with a feather. -when he says the impeachment inquiry was too narrow...he's basically admitting it was a joke and they should have attempted to throw more pasta on the wall to see if it sticks. and frankly it appears he should have been suspious of his own Govt, given what we have learned about the Obamagate
No, what he said is the result of his intellectual and moral limitations. Schiff and the gang knew it was going to fail. So they were speaking to the future. In words you'd understand, perhaps the biggest 'told you so' in American history.
Interesting to see the left wing champion Sexual Predator Biden. Hah. 2020 really is the craziest year.
I have no doubt the Dems, if they still have the House, will once again try to impeach the President They really love abusing their offices.
Oh look a book from a war hawk the democrats hated until he said something bad about Trump. So typical.
In addition to the hoax investigations, what we will also see is more and more left wing terrorism...the DNC is getting desperate
Bolton is a nut. When he had power you know he was always trying to gin up a new war. So no, we didn't like that one bit. But now he's not in power, and it is wildly unlikely he will ever get back in. So he's harmless. Having said that, we run on information (you may not have heard of it). So having another former Trump guy saying what so many other Trump guys have said, supports the notion that Trump is venal and incompetent. Which was obvious before he was elected, if you were paying attention. But the parade of witnesses (who will hopefully be called to testify at Trumps several post-president criminal trials) is rewarding.
Another piece of trash seeking to profit off the American people. A perfect character fit for the Trump Administration.
Bottom line. Either Trump hires "the best" people and turns them into crap. Or ... Trump hires crappy people because he's a poor administrator and poor judge of character.
Do you hire people? I do. I hire people who I think have the best intentions and ability to do the job. Not everyone works out and I'd be a fool to risk my own job and do damage to my company if I kept them. Maybe things in your world are different.
Sure - for 5 to 10% of hires. But you wouldn't have a job for long if over 50% of your hires failed - which is what Trump has done.
When staff turnover is 78% in a company, it's easy to conclude that the manager is part of the problem.
