There was no over-reaction initially to begin with ... I agree that now is a different question - but it was the initial lockdown that is responsible for the 20 million out of work - and you can't pin that on the left and pass the giggle test.

It was 30 millions jobs, not 20. And yes had we reopened by Easter it would have been less, just common sense. It’s 20 million now because....wait for it.....we reopened some....

Yes they are, again the pressure to do so is coming from where? It’s not the right asking for it. See the WP, NYT, CNN etc...see the liberal mayors of large votes in conservative states pushing for it, See Gov Cuomo comments...see all the evidence out there.

He's been given almost 4 years. And still - no plan to replace. Repeal, yes - but no replacement. His campaign promise was to replace it with something much better and much cheaper. In order to make that promise, surely he had the plan at the ready. But, oddly, after elected, he said that 'nobody knew how difficult healthcare was'. Well, ya, people knew. People spent years working on a plan. But clearly, he hasn't. But if I'm wrong - and he has - please share it.

Mayors and country judges are mandating the closings and mandatory mask orders in many areas. Which in turn have been over ruled by some governors, other have not. But the pressure to close is coming from the left.

The liberal mayors of those cities are pressuring the conservative governor. Should he cave in to it? No. But that does not change the fact that the pressure to do it is from the left. If it was not they would not be asking would they?

The governor ultimately makes the call. They aren’t caving. Stop putting the blame on all the Dems. I would have thought you would have the belief of personal responsibility but apparently not as you have this need to blame everything on Dems.
Look at the Repub led states that did open early and now are closing some things down due to the huge spikes in COVID cases. They are waking up to their mistake

Frankly I have had enough of paying for my own health insurance while also paying for those who can't find a way to be useful in society. I was alive in a time when 80% of the population gave more to their country than they took. It is disheartening see that society changed to one where more take from their country than they give. There simply are not enough people like me to carry those with their mouth's attached to the government teat any more. This is the reason that America will fall.
