If the Covid virus mutates, we could get a complete civilization collapse today. Imagine it mutating and wiping out 3 billion people.... that many deaths would collapse the system and more billions would die of starvation (I think I would eat a bullet if such an event happened). It could do that in a matter of months. Because our elites demand globalization and intense interaction with the 3rd world, we live on the razor's edge. Exotic viruses spring out of Africa and Asia on a yearly basis and therefor we are always one pandemic away from destruction.

Remember this, if such an event should ever occur, the world would revert to tooth and fang almost instantly.... those who are best at organized violence would organize and take out the weak and unorganized. You can afford your morals only because there is so much surplus. In a post apocalyptic world, only those could contribute meaningfully to the most powerful and ruthless tribe would survive.

Ironically it would probably be indigenous tribes in South America who would have the best opportunity of surviving such an event. They are self-sufficient, no Westerner is. We have become ineffective hunter/gatherers.

I left California last year. I sold my custom home in lake Arrowhead (a home that I built with my own two hands) and moved to North Idaho where I purchased 28 Acres. I was done with liberals and their laws. I was done with paying $1000 a year in registration on my pickup, $550 a year personal property tax on my boat, the $0.35 per kilowatt hour for electricity, the bombed out roads and infrastructure, gasoline a dollar a gallon more than any of the neighboring states, the substandard public schools, the ridiculous gun laws, on and on and on. California is in your wallet at every turn. It wasn’t racist for me but it damn sure was oppressive. A shame too, a beautiful state California is and it was tough to leave being that my family had been there since the 1800’s. So yeah, if your area code just isn’t working for you, pack up and split.

Correct some of that.
1. Slaves were purchased from Africans in Africa who captured them.

2. Contrary to modern lore, slaves were first taken to the Caribbean rather than to what is now the CONUS. The purpose history says is to acclimate slaves to the northern hemisphere climate. It is also possible to "tame them" to make them more valuable to the whites of America.

3. Slaves were not sold cheap. Slaves even those days of what we think of as cheap money, sold for a fortune.

I have read of slaves in America commanding a then $1,000 or more per slave.

They were slaves in Africa so our Ancestors did not enslave them, that was handled by Africans.

Oh happy day. If only all these radical angry blacks would get out of the country maybe we could move on. Auto licenses are dirt cheap. I got my drivers license easily here. Food is taxed. But there is also a tax rebate.

Homes that in my former city cost $900,000 sell here for perhaps $150,000 if that. There are some mansions in the mountains back of Boise.

When we go fishing, we drive for perhaps an hour and 45 minutes.

1) If the Europeans hadn't been there to buy them, the other Africans wouldn't have been able to sell them. Supply and demand.
2) Not all slaves came here by way of the Caribbean. My enslaved ancestors were bought straight from West Africa to Virginia in the 1700's.
3) Of course, slaves were expensive. In 1860, just before the Civil War, the slaves in the USA were worth 4 billion dollars. That was more money than all the banks, businesses and railroads put together.
