Redlining in that industry doesn't exist anymore. It can't possibly since there is no more face to face contract, race questions, and as I've pointed out the process to you (since you were ignorant to it), it's literally impossible.

 

The fight had started before Trump was elected.
The fight between population of privileged vs non-privileged (white males) initiated and supported by Democrat party.
Democrat party is responsible for ills in the society.

 

Hell yes is exist. Whites have the privilege of carrying their own families last name. Who's name are 95% of blacks in the country carrying. (Hint....not theirs)

Can you give quantifiable evidence or are you only offering subjective opinion? Decades ago you could give evidence of which states had Jim Crow laws, or where there were other quantifiable metrics to show racism exists. That is no longer the case, now its opinion being paraded as fact, or worse; manufactured nonsense paraded as racism for political gain...

 

Quantifiable evidence is readily available to anyone willing to do the research. I worked as a business consultant, therefore, I've been inside quite a few companies and what I've witnessed is rampant, blatant discrimination on many levels at all levels.

In fairness, it was a bit easier to prove discrimination during the time of Jim Crow laws because they were on record as you pointed out. Now they are usually unwritten (although I've met a few dumb employers that put things in writing) and more subtle. The end result is the same. It's just mostly ignored or dismissed. Or, worse, the victim is blamed and accused of pulling "the X (usually race) card".

The absolute best way to see it for yourself is to befriend a person "different" from your own demographic - race, color, sexuality, etc. and go somewhere with them in public. It won't take long for you to witness just how awful it really is.

 

The very notion of 'privilege' is based entirely on subjective nonsense. There are copious laws covering 'discrimination' as you say exists. That includes entire state and federal agencies that serve no other purpose than to enforce all those laws and ensure companies are not in fact practicing racist policies.

I've been around, and its not awful at all. If there is a problem, then people are clearly not using lawful methods or going through the proper channels. There simply is no excuse for all the whining these days, there are literally decades of law and precedent to ensure it doesn't happen. The only time you hear of this so-called racism these days its based on something that cannot be proven beyond sad accusations...

If you equalize anecdotal evidence (I worked somewhere and I think there was something that look like racism) with research, there is no point to do the research on something that is obvious.
The only type of racism in United States that is observable is an illegal discrimination of white males.

On Sunday, President Donald Trump thanked some of his supporters in Florida by retweeting a video of people driving golf carts confronting anti-Trump protesters. Early in the video one of the supposed Trump supporters on a golf cars shouts “white power” with his fist raised at protesters.

Trump’s retweet was deleted later on Sunday morning, though the original tweet still currently exists.

I guess it's not systemic when the prez of the USA retweets a white power tweet. It's flat out blatant.

Poor white is equal to poor black, there is no discrimination whatsoever.

You provided no evidence, except to say it would literally take years of observation which would still only provide subjective opinion, no actual proof. IF there is racism in America, prove it with quantifiable evidence, not opinion. I'll wait, but not for years on end...

 

I saw this in another thread and listened to it but I couldn't hear the comment. Did you hear it? It sounded like a bunch of people on both sides just screaming at one another.

Further, people see what they want to see and it's easier to pretend something doesn't exist rather than acknowledging it and the pain it causes to others. People just don't care if it's not in their backyard. Sad, but true.

 

There was no family history to destroy. Stone age civilizations don't have family histories. My parents were missionaries to primitive tribes in the Amazon. None of those tribes had family histories. Take a course in anthropology. Anybody making your claim is only demonstrating a remarkable ignorance of how civilizations evolve. Here is a tip, if you don't have a WRITTEN language, you aren't going to have a family history. Please don't make such a silly claim again.

Blacks can have DNA tests to find out exactly where they came from and can now visit their ancestral homelands. It would be as difficult for them to find their closest relatives in Africa as it would be for me to find my closest relatives in England, Germany and the Netherlands.

This seems to be a case of an inferiority complex over the fact that they came from a stone age culture. Get the hell over it. All humans ultimately came from a stone age culture. Quit living in the past and attempt to contribute something positive to the civilization you are living in. Periodically looting, burning and rioting is not contributing.

No more so than mainstreaming Latino or Asian privilege exists.

Mainstreaming is the initiation. Not color coded bean counting.

Witness the persistence of Black neighborhoods in S.W. Los Angeles.
California has had fair housing laws for over 50 years.
Many of these neighborhoods are Middle Class, not welfare.
Middle Class Black people choosing to live in Black neighborhoods.

The “function” you mention is logistic regression. Basically it is the following equation: y=b+mx1+mx2+mx3.... where y is the slope of the regression. b is the y intercept, mx1 is your independent variable and mx2,mx3,... are your control variables. It’s more complicated than that but that’s the basic idea. Regression will control for your control variables, it’s in the name.

You have no legs to stand on this.
