I see Donald Trump as the best chance to keep me, my wife and children, and other friends and family, from being marched into a gas chamber followed by having our murdered corpses rot in an American killing field someplace. November approaches. Vote Republican, across the board. Local. Senate. House. Governorships. Where ever you can vote Republican, do so. Your life and liberty are at stake.

Actually, the current and former military of my acquaintance turned against The Donald when he pulled them out of Syria, betraying the Kurds who had been fighting ISIS by our side for years, leaving them to whatever horrors Erdogan chose to subject them to.

What would you have said if the same thing had happened under Obama? Would you have given it a pass because it was "unverified"? Be honest.

My opinion is, this is just another malcontent with TDS mouthing off and not worthy of an OP unless of course....

All you are DOING to establishing that you are NOT an "expert" when it comes to intelligence but don't let that stop you!

Whether or not I am an expert on intelligence has nothing to do with it. In fact I don't consider myself an expert on intelligence. I have worked with intelligence people and have set through a lot of intelligence briefings.

The article does not say the intel was verified or credible. I found no other reliable source saying it was verified or credible and neither can you. The intel was not credible.

No, what I am saying is that anyone with an axe to grind can construct a "poll" to gain the desired result.

I was born the same year the Hindenburg burned. It was also the year Amelia Earhart was missing. However, on the positive side, I understand that was a good year for wine.

It's credible enough for congress to investigate. I'm going to withhold my opinion on the credibility until after we have more facts, but this would be in keeping with Trump's lack of ability to read or understand the daily briefing, and it definitely fits into the category of things he continually refuses to discuss, specifically Putin.

Seriously? You believe that if Biden is elected, you and your family will be marched into a gas chamber? How on earth did you come to that conclusion?

But because the accusation or premise is out there, don't you think Trump should address it? At the very least for the sake of military families? He doesn't have to say it is true or false - he could simply say that it is being investigated. And promise to punish Russia if it is true. He has no problem threatening punishment to others - so why not in this case? To ignore the existence of the news is far more disturbing and is leading people to believe he has something to hide. And it leaves families to worry about their military family members, perhaps, unnecessarily.

You mean it is credible enough for the democratic house to investigate. Anything that has the vaguest connection to Trump is credible enough for the democratic house to investigate.

The military troops were warned about it a long time ago. I have no doubts that the intel people are trying to determine whether it is credible. Troop deaths in Afghanistan are way down, but any of our military in Afghanistan are at risk to be killed by the Taliban whether it is true or not and their families are going to worry about it. Russia paying a bounty does not add that much more of a threat. They are the enemy and they want to kill us.

Believe me, I did not know how much families worried until after I got home from Vietnam and then I heard about it.

That doesn't answer why Trump has been silent on the issue. He could just say what you've posted. But he hasn't. And as the leader of the country, something this big - America's military potentially being targets of bounty hunters - should be addressed. Even if it is to say there is nothing here folks...

Intelligence which has not been found to be credible is not "something this big". It is just a piece of unverified intelligence.

Both Biden and Putin may be crazy but they are not stupid. There won't be an exchange of nukes; just a war of words and mutual sanctions.

Why is anybody concerned about this? We had bounties on our head in Iraq too, being paid out by Iran. Iran was also supplying insurgents with rockets and training insurgents on how to construct EFP's and IED's. Nobody seemed to care then, with Obama in charge. We paid Mujaheddin fighters to kill Russians in Afghanistan, and supplied them with stinger missiles to shoot down their Hind helicopters. That's what enemies do to eachother. In case you didn't know, Russia is not our friend. At the same time we don't want open war either. So both sides engage in these proxy wars. It's always been that way. The only reason people are worried about it now is because "Orange man BAD".

Committees include both parties, last I heard. Majority holds the gavel, but otherwise the parties have equal representation. Right now, Democrats hold the committee chairs because that's how we the people wanted it in Nov 2018.

What IMAGINARY "poll" are you referring to now?

Or are you just flailing around in desperation because you cannot deal with the REALITY that Republicans and Veterans are openly REJECTING your Traitor-in-Chief?
