I have no way of answering that outside of saying that people who are members, marching with people who are allies - and say so - are more or less indistinguishable from each other. If we can identify someone who says he founded BLM and says "we" are trained Marxists, then by their own admission it is an organization of some sort, although how organized it is is open to interpretation.

An odd thing to admit in a thread about BLM and what one of it's leaders has said. You may be in the wrong thread.

Oh sure, that I agree with to a degree. But OBLM is quickly proving itself to NOT be the group capable of doing it. Do we need change? Absolutely we do. But led by a group that wants whitey dead? The Jews shipped off to camps or somesuch? Nope - and heck, I say that and I'm not even white. Then again I'm not black either so I'd likely be next on their list.

I wonder which group BLM hates the most - whites or Jews? Hmm.

I have never heard any of this mentioned by the general protestor. One guy saying he represents an organization that doesn’t really exist — as it is a movement — is of little concern. Now if this starts being a mainstream line of though among the majority (or even a significant minority) I believe the entire movement will lose the vast majority of the support it has. It will lose mine.

Did you see where WalMart pulled the all lives matter tee shirts because whiner protesters were offended by them?

    No, don't change the subject.

You said, No one is saying all lives do not matter.

    I'm saying you're wrong.

Virtually no one is saying all lives do not matter, what they are saying is that the phrase “all lives matter” is a protest against “black lives matter” and not actually representative of a legitimate movement. I never thought context and nuance would be this difficult for so many to understand but here we are...

So again, I do not care that Wal-Mart is removing items that are openly mocking a legitimate issue.

Would you have an issue if they removed a shirt with someone pissing on a cross or the American Flag?
Or is this the extent of your selective outrage?

If you march with BLM or wear a shirt then you must agree with it and if you don’t know what it’s leaders are pushing then your ignorance is your own fault.

Take for example one of its biggest supporters. Kapernick. This horribly racist country allowed this abandoned black kid to be adopted by generous white parents which put him in an amazing situation, to become great enough in Football to get a scholarship, eventually sign multimillion$ contracts and start in the NFL, mostly ending a mediocre and short career Then after he was cut, because he wasn’t good enough partly due to an injury, but mostly declining ability and not a good enough QB IQ, he shifts to an activist and signs MORE million$ deals to produce shows and endorsements that revolve around bashing the country and people that allowed him all the opportunities he’s had. It certainly wasn’t a bunch of blacks people who built the college and the NFL team that made him millions or instilled whatever values he had. It was mostly evil white people who pushed him into the gutter and stole all the opportunities in his life...err...never mind. He’s about as privileged as it gets.

WOW what a ****ing terrible country he lives in. Really. Think about it.

I have an issue with people protesting all lives matter tee shirts. I have an issue with people being fired for saying all lives matter. And I have an issue with you tip toeing around it like it's no big deal.

    All Lives Matter!

    Ok

If you believed this would would support substantial changes to police forces and their unions, national healthcare, revamping educational programs, protecting the environment and reducing pollution...

It is sad that All Lives Matter as a slogan now just means a protest against common sense.

If BLM actually meant all black lives you’d have a point. But BLM only concerns itself with black lives killed by white people. If they cared about ALL black lives they would be protesting the far more egregious situation that happens everyone weekend in the inner cities. More black people killed each other over July4th weekend than cops have killed ALL last year. More then a few years. The outrage is completely misplaced. Destroying statues of presidents is just the start of this insanity and Democrats and the MSM are fanning the flames of our destruction. BLM destroys everything and everyone from innocent kids to burning innocent businesses and restaurants. There is no direction anymore. It’s just violence. Loads of violence. BLM and it’s supporters have caused more destruction in a few months than white supremacists have caused in decades. When BLM leaders support destroying the nuclear family you know they’re out to destroy everything. The lack of a nuclear family is the main contributor to all their generational poverty. Too many statistics point in the same direction. It’s almost as if BLM was created by white supremacists to destroy them further and create MORE racism. It’s astounding.

Police actually — regardless of their color, we see some remarks when it is a white person but very little in the form of protest unless it is especially egregious or ignored by the “system”.

Blacks definitely have an issue with community violence against one another.
That doesn’t mean they should protest a broken system outside of that.

Very few support the violence behind some of the protests, but most of current protests are peaceful. Statues of murderers and individuals that committed treason need to come down. Even trump has said the main symbol needs to come down and be placed in a museum.

How is BLM out to destroy the nuclear family?
White people did that with the obscene prison system and possession laws. Not to mention red lining...

In sheer numbers of course there are more peaceful protestors. But there is A LOT of violence and murder attached to BLM. Far more damage to lives and property has been caused due to BLM then due to any corruption by police. It’s barely comparable.

And nothing is being ignored in the system. More white people are killed by cops every year by cops.
Dirty cops are nailed all the time. Sometimes they get away with murder but that’s against ALL races. It’s not just blacks. It needs to be fixed.

Read their website to know their views. It’s all there and some of it is quite disturbing to any intelligent honest person.

    I disagree.

It took “the system” months to arrest two white men that chased down and then murdered an unarmed black man in the middle of the street and that only happened because of public outrage. I disagree again.

Almost like white people are six times the population size...
When you break it down by population percentages does that statistic change?

I agree. Too bad the “All Lives Matter” movement isn’t protesting this but instead are protesting a movement fighting for this.

Here are their goals directly from the “official website”. https://blacklivesmatter.com/blms-whatmatters2020-goals-and-focus/

While I am sure many conservatives will disagree with much of it but I see nothing on the list that is “disturbing”. Most of it should be supported by anyone with a functioning brain much less an “intelligent honest” person. Which one do you take issue with?
    • Racial Injustice
    • Police Brutality
    • Criminal Justice Reform
    • Black Immigration
    • Economic Injustice
    • LGBTQIA+ and Human Rights
    • Environmental Conditions
    • Voting Rights & Suppression
    • Healthcare
    • Government Corruption
    • Education
    • Commonsense Gun Laws

No. It means all lives matter. Nothing more, nothing less. Once we agree all lives matter we can move on from there.

I have no idea where you get this as against common sense. To me it is common sense.

I agree with the statement that all lives matter, they do — well, except for people that desire or try to harm others, theirs matter less IMO
I disagree with the slogan “All Lives Matter” as I have only seen it be used as a counter movement

If “All Lives Matter” is an actual movement dedicated to... well... anything, please show me a single example of anyone using the slogan to improve the lives for anyone.

    Shouldn’t be hard, right.

For example, when someone violently punches a police officer, steals his taser, and fires it at said policeman? Yes, that exactly.

You do realize that "white skin" allows more vitamin d synthesis, right?

Depending on where you live on earth, both light and dark skin can cause medical issues.

If someone were to punch a police officer they should be arrested. Not shot in the back and then kicked while laying on the ground dying.

    Yes, that exactly
