It's amazing that Stone would be penalized, yet the ones involved in creating a false dossier like Clinton, Obama, etc., are walking around free.
All of it, Russiagate, the Steele Dossier, the special counsel Robert Mueller investigation, the Christmas Impeachment, all of it was based on a hoax.
Only if they need food to feed their children. In the Near East, people sometimes sold their children into slavery to get food for the younger ones. Hunger though has never been the case in the US - even during the depression. There were always the churches. The problem is the society which tolerates crimes. This doesn't mean someone should be hung because they stole a sheep - which actually was a law in Britain at one time. But there should definitely be some social condemnation - especially among one's peers. Maybe stocks? Oh yeah! Thanks!
No one was really that hungry, as I said there were the churches. The men wanted jobs, they didn't want hand outs, and that's what Roosevelt gave them with his New Deal. One of the first things he did, was have them plant trees to stop the soil from eroding. The house below was given to Johnny Cash's family in 1932 under Roosevelt's New Deal. The family was to plant cotton on the property and live in it until they could afford to buy it. Cash's mother said that she couldn't believe how beautiful it was, but that ended with a flood a few years later.
It was a misread. He was 'released from prison quarantine' after getting sick, and the indefinite delay on his extradition to LA for more sex crime charges is being blamed on Covid. I retract my comment. Cohen and Avennati were put on house arrest due to Covid though, and Cohen is back in jail after violating house arrest to go out to dinner...
Mine were hungry and they worked when they could. A couple in the CCC camps where nobody got rich but could send money home to family. Ever heard the term Okie? Migrant workers that went to where there was a rumor of work to be had, that was us, Okies by the grace of God. (they would steal a bit from you if you weren't careful) It was hard times for all and damned hard times for many.
I was wrong. Weinstein was released from prison quarantine. Its his extradition to LA for more sex crime charges that is being delayed due to Covid. Cohen and Avenatti however were transferred to house arrest because of Covid concerns. Cohen violated house arrest and is back in jail.
We all know about the Okies from the Grapes of Wrath. Of course when you're hungry you're going to steal food. And if your children are hungry, you will even sell a child into slavery so the younger ones could eat. I know that for a fact, but not here, in the Near East. But if work was available, they would work, they wouldn't live by stealing. That's the difference. Weren't the Okies going to California to pick crops? Anyway I would suggest that people start planting crops in their back yard - because things are only going to get worse.
Not quite true. Cohen did. I haven't seen a pardon for the guy that would take a bullet for individual 1.
This is the right thing to do, Roger Stone is a victim of Corruption, the FISA scandal, the Steele Dossier (apparently Steel have been ordered to pay the Russian bankers he smeared falsely in his report by a UK court) & the Mueller farce, Stone was just another body tossed under the Democratic bus.
No one in my family turned to crime due to poverty in the 1930s. And believe me, Arkansas suffered crushing poverty. On a scale which dwarfed that of many states.
Very true because Cohen had nothing to say. And if anyone knows where the bodies are buried it would be the fixer, Cohen. He knew nothing.
Of course no one turns to crime because of poverty, but if you have children crying from hunger, you will grab something for them to eat. What you won't do is grab a TV set or computer. If you do, then you're a thief. A lot of it is societal, and that's where the problem lies. I would certainly watch my things in parts of the inner cities, as well as in parts of Italy and Albania. According to my mother, the law on her island was, if you steal a fig from a tree and eat it, then it's not a crime. If you take it with you, then you're a crook. I wonder if that holds true in our supermarkets? Now on the island of Crete, thievery is a common practice, especially if there was a wedding and there wasn't enough food to feed the town. One day during a convention here, some Cretans decided as a joke that they would go a-thieving that night, and steal some produce from the farm of one of their members. As they were grabbing their ill gotten goods, they heard police sirens and the area suddenly lit up. They couldn't believe the humiliation since they were all businessmen and executives with top positions, and here they were being arrested for stealing some food from someone's farm. It turned out that the police captain was also from Crete and he had been tipped off and decided to have some laughs himself.
