~ Now I have one - which I usually forget. People in the store who must have a cellphone conversation while walking all over the place so that EVERYBODY else can hear !! ` MUST YOU ... ❗❓
My neighbors down the street have a nearly grown puppy (looks like a chocolate lab, but leaner with short hair). Its name is Maia. I only know that because they end up screaming it repeatedly every few hours every day when they let the dog out and it immediately sprints off in a random direction. Every. Fing. Time. Then their whole family runs off after it screaming for it to come back. Every. Fing. Time. I know they know what a leash is. They obviously refuse to use one for whatever reason. They must like this game? I don't.
Hey, I have the exact same neighbors, except the dog is named Toby and is a medium sized tan-colored mix.
ALL OF THESE I drive 25 miles to work on roads which are mostly 60 MPH or 65 MPH, and not during rush hour, so there isn't that much traffic. Nearly every day, at least once, two cars will be driving 40-55MPH side by side, sometimes for a several miles, bottle-necking both the fast and slow lanes from anyone behind them having the ability to JUST DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT. On the rare days it doesn't happen and I can drive the posted speed, I'm 5-10 minutes early to work.
Could be. Wife also complains about the loud background "music" in movies but her hearing is excellent. I don't have a problem with the old movies, just the newer movies.
When I do my 48 mile commute, either way, on the interstate truckers seem to take the middle lane, and everyone has to dodge around them, causing more problems. At least they finally banned them from the left lane, which doesn't stop some, and I understand the theory about pulling hills, but get the ********* out of the left or middle lane to pull it! They'll go tip to tail sometimes, and if you want 'that' exit, you either have to pedal along at 40 MPH while the truckers chug along, or hope that one slows down enough to let you in before the exit. Fortunately, I have three exits to choose from when homeward bound. I am not the patient sort on the highways and byways....
Alabama turns. Slow down..... Slow down..... Slow down.... stop while turning wheel ..... advance at a snails pace.... turn on turn signal. In that order. Or pull up to road from driveway. See car in distance. Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Pull into traffic right in front of you.
TV newscasters who start stories with the phrase “Disturbing news . . ., e.g., “Disturbing news that 67 percent of college students had at least one binge drinking episode last year.” Just report the news and let me decide whether or not it’s “disturbing.” Sometimes, as with the case of our binge drinking college students, I don’t find it all that disturbing. Second pet peeve with the news? Citing unidentified “experts.” Just who are these people?
Newscasters who tease a story at the start of their 30 minute news cast. Then they tease the same story before going to commercial. Then they tease the story for the third time before going to another commercial break. Then 2 minutes before the end of their broadcast the tell you about the story which last all of 15 seconds.
Pet peeve -- It seems at the start of the 6:30 PM news on ABC, CBS, or NBC, they spend several minutes telling you there is "Breaking news" as they tease 4 or 5 stories. I'm watching and saying to myself -- "Just get on with the news and stop telling me what you are going to talk about."
fmcsa is an organization that pretty much runs the trucking industry. they set the rules and regs. that control the industry. thier studies have shown that the middle lane is 3 times as safe as either outside lane. left lane is restricted so passage of emergency vehicles is assured. tip to tail is because some trucks are restricted to a certain speed while others are set higher. can't go around in the left lane because of lane restricing. right lane in these circumstances is usally taken up with even slower vehicles. check the right lane next time you see this condition. don't be surprised.in the middle while pulling hills? not a good idea but, sometimes it happens, again a much slower vehicle could be in the right lane ahead or, possibly a case of bad judgment.sometimes things don't go your way. sometimes a trucker does things that from the outside seem silly or foolish.i'm just asking you to think about the conditions around you. maybe that driver knows something or sees rsomething you don't . most of the time they do have a larger view than you do. they are sitting 6 or 7 feet higher than you
We don't have "keep right except to pass" laws here so if I am in the "fast lane", pass on the right. And I know you are speeding because I drive 5-10 over. On topic: In line at the crowded fast food joint and the couple ahead of you doesn't bother to look at the menu until the order taker asks.
Fat middle-aged women in cycling shorts. Fat middle-aged men in cycling shorts. Fat middle-aged women with their soggy wrinkled boobs out. Yeuch!!!
Just one?!?!? That's tough. I really hate bad table/eating out manners. - Talking with food in mouth - Putting your hands in my food - Smacking while chewing - Texting at the table - Scraping fork against teeth - Reaching over people - People that complain about their food - Being too cheap to tip fairly
Pet Peeve -- Why is it every time I get on a lonely road, or even a busy highway, and want to turn around, and look for a driveway or side road to pull off on so I can back out and head the other way, when I turn off the main road a car will turn in behind me? Prevents me from backing up. Makes me have to drive down that road until I can find a turn off on it.
When I get an important text while driving and can't get a red light to respond. I don't text and drive.
I know a little about trucking, but one rule that has resounded for years is don't pass a truck on the right. They are jamming cars up in the left lane, and if you abide by undertaker/overtaker rules, you re screwed.
Litter in parks. I hate it when you visit a local park and there is litter left everywhere. People leave fast food bags, plastic drink containers, coffee cups etc... everywhere. There are garbage cans through out the park. Why can't you clean up after yourselves and put you garbage in the garbage cans? This also applies to dog owners that clean up after their dogs and then just throws the plastic bags off to the sides.
We have a public fishing area. It is getting pretty nasty. People just can't leave a place as good... Or better... than they find it. I would pick some of it up but they took away the trash cans.
it is my belief that grocery stores should have traffic laws like on the roads. You can't stop your car in the middle of the road and get out to talk to someone on the sidewalk so you shouldn't be able to leave your cart in the middle of the aisle and stair at the shelf for ten minutes.
