    I head it was an ammo depot, so it might have been an accident rather than an attack.

    My brother was involved in the 1983 bombing. He had to help rescue and recover his fellow soldiers.

    Rumor has it, it was a munitions factory, would make sense given the massive blast and more than one blast (assuming the fire in the video was caused by an explosion before that massive detonation). Why would such a place not be far out in some desert?

    Did anyone but you start the partisan bullshit???? It wasn't an ammo depot, it was an high explosive depot with high explosive confiscated off a ship. It was a helluva explosion no doubt?

    Twitter (for what it's worth) was claiming a fireworks factory, Looked high explosives, high explosives detonate as opposed to deflaggerate but I suppose it could be so. I'd bet it was more like military munitions manufacture. Whatever it was OSHA would be pissed! If it was a fireworks factory the lions share of it would be black powder but flash powder (such as in common firecrackers and many fireworks "reports" is nothing to sneeze at) and very unsafe to play with in large amounts

    That's the word coming out of MSNBC.... Many tons of chemicals stored in the same place for years..

    Some of the videos are unbelievable..

    Current reports on 60 dead/3000 injured, and the entire city smells of chemicals...
