Rats are jumping ship! I think its clear. Comey didn't go 'rogue', he just followed orders. Straight from the top. Yates Says Comey Went ‘Rogue’ On Flynn, Reveals She First Learned Of FBI Probe On Three Star Gen. From President Obama During a hearing Wednesday with the Senate Judiciary Committee former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates slammed former FBI director James Comey saying that when he authorized the surprise White House interview with then national security adviser Michael Flynn in January 2017, it was done without her authorization. https://saraacarter.com/yates-says-...probe-on-three-star-gen-from-president-obama/
That is not a site that has any credibility. That is just a twisted site of pro Yrump propaganda. That is just like asking George Goebels for his opinion on the Jewish contribution to German science.
There aren't any sites in the universe that have any cred. So go to youtube and watch the Yates testimony.
Nah - it's just you shooting the messenger: Sally Yates says Comey went rogue by sending agents to interview Flynn https://www.cbsnews.com/news/sally-yates-comey-went-rogue-michael-flynn-senate-judiciary-committee/ Is CBS just a "twisted site of pro Yrump propaganda" that is "just like asking George Goebels for his opinion on the Jewish contribution to German science"? FAIL
She said he went rogue in that the didn't notify the DOJ before he sent his guys for the interview, which she also said was "absolutely material to a legitimate investigation". Should he have?? Probably, but with there not being formal criminal charges, I don't see that as being a requirement during said LEGITIMATE INVESTIGATION. And that procedural issue changes the facts of the Flynn case not one whit. I'm still confused why the discussion of the Logan Act on Jan 5th is a BAD thing now, and one possible reason why the FBI investigation into Flynn was kept open. That's perfectly valid, as that probable violation of the Logan Act is ALSO a continuing counter intelligence issue. It's not either/or....
More schadenfreude please! Itchy Jim Clapper fingered Obama a long time ago, now Yates is claiming Jimmy the Weasel was operating on his own without the Alinskyite in Chief's knowledge? I ain't buyin' it either, but I'm looking hard at corn and butter futures...
Did. Did not sound credible. One very important thing and that is Flynn admitted to a crime. Why would an innocent man o that. And don't give me Deep State and Big Foot threatened him either.
I'll give you that, because that's what happened to him, but not just Flynn. Every criminal defendant (whether guilty or not) is extorted. That's why your defense attorney will typically tell you to plea. Add in Covington's blatant conflict of interest, and you have an unprecedented case where the color of law was robbed from General Flynn. Not only would I have accepted the DOJ motion, I would've made the motion myself. There was never an actual Criminal Case brought before Mr. Sullivan, therefore the counsel wasted his time. That inevitable conclusion is why he's taking these actions. He's upset that the case(that wasn't a case) has gone absolutely nowhere
"Interviewing General Flynn was really right at the core of the FBI's investigation at this point to try to discern, what are the ties between the Trump administration and the Russians?" she said, adding that there was a "risk" Flynn would be compromised.
So what you just posted shows that the Obama Administration interviewed Flynn when there was no basis for continuing an investigation that had no predicate in the first place. The Crowdstrike information was available at that point, so there is no safety net available for about 20 of these miscreants who submitted phony FISA warrant application material.
So just out of curiosity: Say your Comey, the head fo the FBI, and you have literal evidence that one of Trumps campaign members is secretly talking to the Russian ambassador without going thru proper channels. Do you: A: Let it go B: Officially talk to the person about what they were doing And Yates claims to know nothing, yet she testified earlier that she had a conversation in the Oval office with BO about this before they questioned Flynn ?
What is “this”? Because when comey spoke to Flynn, Obama was no longer in the Oval Office. If you mean about how Flynn was lying to pence about the call, or what he was saying...that’s different than comey sending agents to interview him.
Nobody will ever pardon Comey, since both sides hate him... I don't see that he's ever done anything illegal, but he sure apparently did a lot of stuff unilaterally
“There was no surveillance of General Flynn,” Yates said. http://www.politicalforum.com/index...went-‘rogue’-on-flynn.576498/#post-1071931560 When EXACTLY and HOW did Obama learn about Flynn's Kislyak conversations?
WHO (Exactly) is "George Goebels"? Here is George Gobel: Here is Joseph Goebbels: In am not familiar with "George Goebels". Anyway, back to the topic of Yates, I am glad that she was able to give her testimony. Sally Yates said today that Obama and Biden did not attempt to influence the FBI investigation of Flynn during a January 2017 Oval Office meeting with top national security officials. Her testimony counters repeated insinuations by Trump and his allies. {Emphasis added) https://mobile.twitter.com/politico...3?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet
Good one Little known fact... Paul Lynde was in charge of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp George Goebbels...
Oh, that's obvious... But I am curious, although not for the same reason as the ultra-paranoid right, when Obama first learned about it? The primary conversation was on 12/29, and the BIG MEETING was on 1/5.... I mean it's clearly obvious that if any of the same people working on Crossfire Hurricane saw that transcript, it would be a clear red flag that Flynn was still deeply engaged with pro-Russian activities. After Yates testimony, I went back and read the email Susan Rice sent to herself 2 weeks later, and it completely matches what Sally said today. The right can get their collective panties in a twist over the FISA warrant, since it sounds like there were some problems there, but Mike Flynn was a good bust...
